  1. There's a persistent rumour that Falkirk have the third biggest budget in the league, which I'm incredibly dubious about. I don't imagine Cove will come close to Falkirk and Hamilton's outlay either so it gives me a chuckle whenever someone says it.
  2. The highlights includes the kick on taggart because he got a big wallop and couldn't move - however as captain I think you need to talk to your teammates and say - mark him for me I need a minute.
  3. I think whoever does go up will get a bit of a poisoned chalice. Okay the money is substantial but you will be ground down by the quality step up in the Championship. Not saying anyone would do a Brechin but it would be hard going scraps every week. League 1 on the other hand seems relatively open and inviting.
  4. We ripped their defence to shreds for Bobby Wales to cut back to two unmarked Alloa players in the box and he was called wrongly offside. Not a good day for Scottish refereeing.
  5. I petition never to call Buchanan by his surname again. He will only be known as his nickname "steg" from now on.
  6. I do think that. Having him in the 18 yard box defending seems really counter-intuitive to me. He's the best at holding the ball up when his footwork is up to scratch, I wouldn't fancy being the one trying to get the ball off him. Leave him as the outball and get balls into his feet - or head because he's still a big bean pole.
  7. Struck me against Kelty that he didn't look fit. He didn't want the ball on Tuesday and the only reason you play within yourself like that is because you're saving yourself. I did try to get Andy to elaborate on injuries but he wasn't having it as an excuse. Recent weeks we've had performances a plenty and then strong players coming off the bench. Couple games now we've toiled and no real impact subs. Even Kurtis Roberts looked tired. Although he's needing to calm down with his shooting from range too
  8. I'd agree tbh been good value to watch recently.
  9. Did you email me asking for an on air apology for calling his finishing rotten? Someone did. I've manifested his goal into existence by saying anything about his finishing. My young sidekick is yet to find his confidence on his comments in the game. Still shy. He'll get there but I'm glad because it's infinitely better to have someone to talk to. Got to agree we gave you an easy game today. If any of our chances had've went in though I think we'd have made you crumble. Just felt inevitable we wouldn't score and you'd kill it with a second. Not sure what your manager was talking about in particular but heard "football is fucking shit"... Might have been what he thought of results elsewhere or the general standard today outside of your goalkeeper.
  10. https://www.alloaathletic.co.uk/event/alloa-athletic-v-queen-of-the-south-6/ been up for days
  11. It's the same camera that does the highlights.
  12. Edinburgh, technically neutral now, no?
  13. Will say I'm a big Ally Roy fan and think that's probably the one player I'd have in the team that Andy has overlooked. Conor Sammon has had an impact off the bench mostly this season but at 37 is not my long term answer for a striker and tonight received very little in terms of service while failing to hold the ball up to bring anyone else into play. Now Bobby Wales has had some ropey games in terms of his contribution to general play (although he'll be quiet and then just pop up and score) but normally the wingers step up and create something. None of that tonight unfortunately. I've had the conversation with Ally and he feels like he's been very unlucky wherever he's been that he always starts off well and falls out of the side. I hope he breaks the curse soon because he seems like a good lad too.
  14. Tuesday night form is returning. Historically I always feel the rearranged championship games being the most grim and tonight was the same. Poor pass selection. Very low on confidence at times with our decision making. Was reminiscent of earlier on in the season where we were so disjointed. Only positive I can take is that we often bounce back after these abject displays and there'll not be many better teams to play next than a Queen of the South team we've enjoyed playing against in recent displays. Will send out Andy's interview in a bit and probably the highlights - majority Kelty - probably tomorrow morning.
  15. No they don't stream. If it was our Tuesday game it would be.
  16. Just a heads up to those who are not travelling, Saturday will be a PPV day - but I'll get a product sorted after the Kelty game. Last 'open' slot of the season as the semi-final playoffs on the Saturday 11th are still blocked and the final will be on Alba.
  17. Especially since it's all eyes on Kelty Hearts for Tuesday night. Might do Queen of the South a favour by beating them right enough
  18. Good for you. Ask the referee, who I was parked next to, what he thought of trying to park at 1pm. Suddenly the penalty award makes more sense.
  19. Not sure which version I liked better as had the main microphone cut out on me. Dode at Edinburgh was good enough to send me his gopro audio for a second version but I might just leave the first. https://youtu.be/_YMwHhW_vUU Meadowbank is such a difficult place to go it really feels like juggling plates from not being able to park to not having any power to being a shambolic viewing position (and somehow commentating on that view). Will not miss going there for anything length of time.
  20. It was a cold day against Kelty - I expect there'll be a full complement by the time we're involved in the playoffs. Searches probably focused because we narrowly avoided causing damage at Montrose and that makes everyone nervous. Smoke bombs if they land on the burning bits melt the park like in the aftermath of Stirling Albion game.
  21. First news to me and I do the tickets.
  22. Aye dropped the footage in the wrong spot on from the memory card. Will fix it in about 5 minutes.
