  1. Fair play to the board for sacking them - but should have been done long ago. We would have had a better chance of staying up in the SPL if the board had done the right thing 11 months ago. Any chance they can take some of their “quality” players with them?
  2. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No.
  3. The board need to act this weekend and sack Archibald and Paterson. It was woeful today, absolutely woeful. I’m totally sick of his bloody 4231 formation, a sole striker, the inability to change things when it’s obviously not working. IF the directors still think that Archibald will lead us back to the Premier League then they’re as deluded as him.
  4. If only we had a manager who was attack minded and set up the team to score goals. There’s more than a 50/50 chance that it’ll be Coulibaly isolated up front on his own with no support instead of Doolan.
  5. Don’t be daft. Depending on who you listen to, Mr Archibald has either 2 games or 4 games or up until Christmas or till its mathematically impossible for us to win the league or till end of the season or the next 4 years or forever and ever till he draws his last breath to be the manager.
  6. It's clear from the Chief Exec comments that Archibald is not under threat and has a job for life. Quite incredible that the board cannot see what we can all see. I believe that there is now a majority of fans who want to see change in the management team and if we lose this weekend, it will be near impossible for Gerry or chairman or anyone else not to do that.
  7. Ah, so he now kisses Archibalds arse and slates anyone who dares to criticise him. But as Red Monkey, happily said he should be sacked if we were relegated.
  8. Is that the same guy who went under the name of Red Monkey on WAT or whatever it was called before that?
  9. If the board had balls, they'd sack him tonight. But they don't. So they won't.
  10. Thank you. I do try. How many people do do you think thought I was serious?
  11. I see that Stubbs is away from St Mirren. I hope they don't make an approach for Archibald.
  12. Time for another stage managed North Korean style interview with the Chief Exec so he can remind us that they would be concentrating on "quality over quantity " when it came to signing new players. His definition of quality obviously is different to everyone else's.
  13. What a joke of a transfer window. Further proof (not that it was needed) that Archibald is out of his depth and has officially lost the plot. There isn't a hope in hell that this squad will win promotion. To top it off, I'll await the announcement that Fitzpatrick is away on loan to Stirling Albion.
  14. i just don't understand why our recruitment is so shambolic. When we finished 6th in SPL we got told that it would make player recruitment easier and we would get our business done early. That was bollocks. This time round, the ex-chairman convinces us the manager would have a competitive budget, which also appears to be bollocks. Throw in the fact that Archibald wouldn't recognise a good player if one kicked him up the arse and the situation is dire. Shambles.
  15. Same formation, same tactics, same boring "style" of football, same result. It all makes the board's decision to keep Archibald employed farcical. But so long as there are fans singing his praises, they won't sack him. The realists among the support can see his time is up. Act now Mrs Chairman.
  16. Not exactly an inspired signing is it? A striker who doesn't score goals. But Archibald has form for this. No doubt his fan club will tell us that Archibald is the man to turn round this guy's career and show him the way to goal. Just like he did with ........erm.......and then there was .....erm.....thingy. Is this the type of quality player that a competitive budget gets us? The smell of BS is getting stronger each day.
  17. First letters of last 3 tweets now read LOL. Sums things up nicely eh.
  18. Mine wasn't announced. Clearly it's only a select few who are being invited along.
  19. Will today be the day that a plethora of signings of good quality players are announced...........?
  20. He won't make amazing signings - his history of signings is shocking - Azeez, Amoo, Woods, McGinty, Devine to name a few. This is the worry - if he stays for the rest of the month, any new manager will be stuck with the players he signs before the window shuts. That's why he should go now and give the new manager a chance to sign players.
  21. Other than the Archibald appreciation society on WAT, is there anyone still supporting and defending the manager? Is anyone confident that he can still do the job effectively? There is no case for the defence - he has to go. And he has to go this weekend.
