  1. Duncan sinclair "sinky " Gow legend and former manager of arthurlie and larkhall thistle has been appointed as the new manager of lesmahagow.
  2. Be interesting as to who the next appointment will be.
  3. According to gow Facebook manager Neil schoneville has resigned after today's 3-1 scottish Cup defeat at bellshill.
  4. Just seen an article there that Alan wardlaw fears for the future at cambuslang due to board members walking away and/or dwindling committee numbers. This would be a real shame. I support lesmahagow but I have a soft spot for cambuslang as my gran was brought up in camby. I hope they can ride this out.
  5. Wouldn't mind seeing him at the gow to be honest.
  6. So many twists and turns to this league yet. Promotion places apart from shettleston, none of the teams near the top can be certain they're going up. As for relegation, so many teams could get sucked into the battle. Personally I think ek thistle and the Albert are gone however it will be an exciting finish to the season.
  7. Hope it's on. Lochburn is my favourite away day.
  8. Would imagine gow vs port glasgow will be on. Cracking day up here just now.
  9. East kilbride thistle 0-4 lesmahagow
  10. Last I heard gow were winning 2-0
  11. Yes he is a good player. Their keeper is not bad either.
  12. Yes bc. That was a brilliant result for yous as kello are in my opinion in a false position. They were impressive at the gow when they beat us.
  13. Wouldn't say ardrossan are anything special. The gow have still to play them at home and we beat them 1-0 away. I know teams will have good and bad spells over the season so anything is possible. Yes shettleston are in a very good position and look certain to go up however the other 2 places are certainly up for grabs. I would say bellshill were probably one of the better teams we have played this season. However a lot of football still to be played.
  14. Delighted to grab a deserved late point from this match. Looked like it was going to be one of those days because the kello goalie played a blinder. Thought we did enough to win however trailing twice in the match and coming away with a point away from home is not a disaster. Mince pie was also very good.
  15. Ha ha im just a fan. If you see the big man tell him how good he was today. Won everything in our box. Man of the match without a doubt. Jason Thomson also played well but for me big neil never put a foot wrong.
  16. Hard fought 3 points. In the middle of the park Albert won many of the battles but we eventually won the war. Many Missed chances for gow again and some fine individual peeformances. Neil schoneville was immense today.
  17. Local derby Albert v the gow. Was A good game the last time the teams played. We are due an away win. Mon the gow.
  18. Spot on bc. I wouldn't be arsed either if most teams decided that a plastic pitch was the way forward. Fair play to the carluke fans who continue to go to that stadium every 2nd week because it wouldn't be me if i lived in the town. However I'm not trying gloss over a pretty poor gow performance today. Really frustrating as we took a good crowd up there today too.
  19. Actually hate watching a match at carluke to be honest. From a spectators point of view it's hopeless because you are so far away from the pitch and why on earth they keep 4 7 a side goals dotted around the side of the pitch during the match to further restrict viewing is a bit of a mystery. We badly miss woody when he is not there because he is by far our most creative player. I'm also not a fan of plastic pitches however this is no excuse for a very poor display from gow today. Even when we had 11 men on the pitch we were just not at the races. My above post is not a case of sour grapes because even though carluke scored late on we probably didn't deserve anything from today's game. We didn't really have many clear shots or chances. We hardly tested their goalie. Anyway we go again and welcome st rochs at craighead next week in the Scottish cup.
  20. Three teams beginning with R for me. Rossvale Rutherglen and Royal Albert
  21. Maryhill is probably my favourite away ground. Great wee set up, good sized enclosure and you can't complain if there's a pub there too.
  22. Lesmahagow v East kilbride thistle
  23. Lesmahagow 3-5 kello rovers No complaints about the result
