McGrain wasn’t a particularly successful manager but the boost in profile it gave the club was brilliant.
I recall his spell was pretty good. Arbroath Archive has him with a 50% win rate. The best rate of all our permanent managers (quick check just).

Nae harm but we should probably stop guessing who’s signing where.

Not sure that questioning the integrity of a group of people, with nothing on the line, who he might need to get him a result, is necessarily the genius move that he thinks it is.
They have the option of bursting themselves to prove an idiot wrong or phoning it in and making life difficult for him. I know what would be more appetising to me in that circumstance. I don’t actually think that’s how footballers consciously think when they’re out on the park, but I definitely don’t think I’d be going all guns blazing with doing him a favour in mind.
I’ve certainly got a ready made silver lining should QP beat us.

Oh aye Dunc, I suppose we got Forest Green relegated too.

It’s a pity that we’ve pissed Airdrie off unnecessarily.

Aye, in this deal, its more or less the same thing. Food after, people get to keep the kits, if we hadn't had such a miserable season, nobody would be saying a word about it imo.
Agreed. We don’t have to complain about every single thing that’s announced or attempted. That’s a destructive habit.

I’m not sure who’s claiming we’d scoosh anything. Nobody that I can see in a quick squint through this pish. I’d take a respectable mid table spot next season but feel even that will take a lot of work.

It was clearly a protest vote. Mikey wasn’t great
I figured that. More a show of support rather than protest.

Heartening to see the McKenna POTM landslide.

Replacing DC was always likely to be very difficult. I’d few demands of the new manager. Organisation and a nose for a signing would have done me. Even though I so don’t want Arbroath to go through the managers it’s my conclusion that Jim should go and the sooner the better.

Not much happened around the penalty incident. Certainly far short of Hylton/Bird level. McKenna asked for the ball. Twice (?) denied by McIntosh. Given the obvious nature of the error, putting a lesser taker on the kick, I’m still raging that no one who could have influenced things (manager, coaches, captain, senior players) did.

Because you were in the process of getting bodied by a team with Cillian Sheridan in it. I didn't really think it was extremely controversial what I was saying.
Nothing controversial, agreed. Just wondered why you’d remake a point.

Yes. Yes, I do. It's a multi-club forum so yes, I will continue to point out the obvious that he's a fucking chronic football manager.
And that's without an ounce of bitterness.
We know what you think. We get it. No real argument against. Why continue?

Can I just say thank you for Cammy Gill he has been absolutely brilliant for us this season and has not put a foot wrong the whole season.....Cracking keeper.
Was a decent no 2. A way short of realistically challenging Gaston.

Do we add EF to this list in 12 months?
Possibly, but definitely Ross Co who I forgot in my first list.

And I never heard a peep of fan protest until TNS.

Am I being asked to believe that DC’s response to being deliberately spat on was merely to shake his head and walk off? I’m not having that for a second. Spoofing about fitba matters is one thing, having 6 teachers in our squad one July springs to mind, but this is too much. And as for not being asked to stay on after 18 months of abject pish. I’m saddened by this wee interview segment. Dunfermline, Partick, Forfar and Arbroath. DC always blameless.

Don’t give a f**k about a youth team - waste of money
Totally agree. Every penny spent on this would leave less to sign players.

I wouldn’t be aiming at Ayr here. They’ll be going by the book.

Max Boruc confirmed on loan from Hibs. Worries me a little, because I'd hoped that Adams would get his chance, but you don't bring a premier league keeper on loan to sit on the bench...
Really hope Adams gets a run. Also I’m sure us and others have had plenty young PL GKs on the bench down the years.

Is there a mute/ignore on this?

No need for all this video nonsense from media side of the club. Just get on with telling us who we've signed. Pronto.
Lighten up, it’ll no be long.

Hylton saying the players know their jobs, Innes Murray having a “detailed” discussion before signing, no guarantees of course but I like the way it’s going.

Got my Sporting Post from Cuthills in Fisheracre. Van expected at 7pm. At one point if you hadn’t been at an away match it was the first chance to get the scorers names. Often Yule or Harley.
