The maximum number of potential subs in a group game is actually wildly 9, and in the knockout stages is 10.
5 standard subs
2 concussion subs (your players)
2 concussion subs (awarded if the opposition uses theirs)
1 additional sub in extra time
Stoppages allowed remain at 3 during game time, but unlimited in HT/FT/HT in ET. An additional stoppage granted for a concussion sub cannot be used to replace or add to the maximum of 3 stoppages allowed for normal subs.
Cheers, I had assumed only one concussion sub (and forgot that the opposition could earn you more too).

BBC reporting that executive committee will ratify the decision.
I think with potentially 6 (or even 7!) subs per game now, having a squad of only 20 outfield players is probably too small for a tournament where you might be playing 7 times.

I hope it gets rejected tbh. It benefits the larger nations more as they'll have much stronger squad depth. I'm fully expecting it to get approved because of this.
Will be a real benefit to larger nations in the later stages so shouldn't really disadvantage Scotland.
Selfishly it might be good for us if Germany can refresh their team with strength in depth for the games against Hungary and Switzerland.

One of the great 'what if's' of Scottish politics. As in, has Sheridan not torpedoed the SSP with his antics when he did, their vote would probably have held up in 2007, taking a share away from the SNP, and the SNP would probably have needed an agreement with the SSP to form a govt.
That would have led to a very different and very interesting period between 2007-11 had it happened.
Given the SNP got in on the back of the list vote in 2007, a more effective SSP would probably have delivered four more years of Jack McConnell as FM.

Roos is hopeless.
Almost as bad a shootout performance as Colin Doyle for Killie v St Mirren.

Agreed, remember some great midweek replays in the past, but from a (albeit Scottish) paying punter's perspective, going to a cup tie it's preferable to see it settled that day.

Apparently it’s always been the case that penalty kicks aren’t classed as part of the match. The wording just changed a bit.
Yep, I remembered the rule from a "You Are The Ref" question.
Two yellows still equal a suspension though...

Commentators don't seem to realise bookings are reset before a shootout.

The Charlatans are legends, never seen them live unfortunately. Missed them last year when they toured.
Going to be playing Glasgow, Queen's Park Recreation Ground on the Sunday 30th June. Maybe go along this time.
Saw them headlining Electric Fields at Drumlanrig a few years back. We'd gone primarily to see some other acts on the bill, but Charlatans absolutely blew me away. Definitely one of the best live bands I've seen

Delighted that effort of a penalty wasn't Modric' last touch in the Champions League.
