I can understand why people like him as he always tries and gives his all. Unfortunately he’s just not very good. I will be happy so long as we don’t have to watch him week in week out and we actually sign someone with a bit of talent to play that position

The only time I can think of him playing at centre back this season was one of the top 3 worst Ayr games I’ve ever watched, at Cappielow in January.
He can cover centre half about as well as I could cover an incapacitated Boeing 747 pilot.

Just pray to god he’s only being kept on as back up if we see him on a regular basis next season then I will fucking scream! Although we said the same at the start of this season

I know we rip into Mcallister at times as he’s not the best player. One thing you can praise him for is that he always gives his all, he’s taken a few knocks at times but always wants to play on and through the pain barrier.
I thought he played brilliantly last night out of position although I don’t want to see him playing there week in week out

It's a difficult league and to suddenly be in a situation where apparently roughly a third of the first XI are out for the duration does not help. Watching the first half and seeing a guy who was playing centre half for Stranraer last season playing as a wingback was really tough.
But things got dug out tonight. And at least it's interesting.

If we made the playoffs it could either be glorious or horrendous. Last season has completely put me off the idea though. Brown has made us hard to beat even when down to the bare bones. Hopefully a few players back next week v raith as they have a good team and feel we could end up on the end of a tanking with so few bodies.
what’s the story with watret is he out on loan of us he still at the club? Might be our only option for right back next week
