  1. The full time whistle just went a year ago. And then it got REALLY funny.
  2. There will never, ever be a more important goal in Hibs' history again. We could win the league, we could win the European Cup, nothing will compare to that moment. I'm just so glad I was there, would have never forgiven myself if I'd missed it.
  3. That's a cracker of a video to be fair, so convincing it nearly had me buying a season ticket.
  4. If a goal was scored like that at the other end of any ground, fans would take a good three or four seconds to cheer it. It was impossible to see because there were about 20 players in the box blocking the view of the near post, added to the fact that the ball didn't hit the net or anything - it just sort of stayed behind the goal line for ages. It was only clear from where I was sitting as I was behind the goal and could see it over the line.
  5. Monorail episode about to start on Channel 4 +1.
  6. When I get a moment I will be adding these on, don't worry
  7. I thought about that, but it's not been posted in since February and most of the time people are arguing about what actually happened. I want some definitive answers, plus smpar changed the idea anyway.
  8. Pie and Bovril Glossary ______ for this Pish: informing a poster that they have started a thread when there is already one which exists for the topic in question 14 Mile: a nickname for a poster called 8Mile, who once said "wid" to a girl who turned out to be 14 Alias: other accounts controlled by the same poster, or people who have been banned and want to make a return to P&B At Least You're Not Upset: another standard P&B trope, the intention of which is to suggest that the person it's aimed it is taking things badly and has genuinely been upset by something a random person on a football forum has said - can also be viewed as a desperate attempt to deflect from someone who is losing an argument Beast: the unspeakable word of this forum, can't tell you why (take a wild guess) Cockwomble: a term of derision, an insult, coined after someone used it in reference to Neil Doncaster once Crispy Pets: a reference to a poster named Grimbo, who once had his house burn down with pets inside Div: overlord of Pie and Bovril, St Mirren fan Dotting Accounts: users created to either antagonise fellow posters by giving all of their posts red dots, or supporting them by giving green dots Head's Gone: a P&B accusation, the intention of which is to suggest that someone is so riled up by something written on a football forum that their 'head has gone', i.e. they're fucking furious and have lost it ITK: In The Know, usually someone who claims to have a 'source' or 'sources' at a club who tells them all the goings on - at least 99% of the time said ITK person is a huge bullshitter looking for attention Keep Pushing: a phrase used by moderators to warn posters who kept using a banned phrase to desist or else they'd face a ban Kick Her in the Pie: a P&B response for when someone talks about something a woman has said or done that has displeased them - to boot her in the vagina I'll be adding them as we go along, thanks to @DA Baracus for the contributions.
  9. Reading this has made me realise how uninformed I am about this place. I need a glossary or something. For a start, what was the Wasteland?
  10. What a bloke, that's fantastic. Utterly out of the blue.
  11. "We must rebuild our military and national security so that we may achieve peace through strength." - some US Senator today Genuine headcases. Depresses the f**k out of me.
  12. I've cheated to find the answer, so out of respect for the game I won't say it.

  14. Big fan of having 3 tests on at once. Wish they could schedule more to coincide like that, the Boxing Day period is always great for it.
  15. The advantage of living in England is getting the sweet combination of people knowing nothing about Scotland and still allowing their own heads to fall off. It's amazing how quickly the media and the general population can change their beliefs to suit them when it comes to these referendums... 2014: "We're one big happy union, why would you want to leave? You have no idea what you're leaving for. It would be an economic disaster for Scotland to leave!" 2016: "We're tired of being told what to do by people we didn't vote for. The risks of leaving are worth it for our independence. We need to take back control!" 2018/19: "We're one big happy union, why would you want to leave? You have no idea what you're leaving for. It would be an economic disaster for Scotland to leave!"
  16. His face has been painted in a way that makes him look a bit like a gorilla.
  17. Tivoli Gardens is very central. Went last summer for the Hibs Scottish Cup piss up against Brondby, stayed a bit further west out in Vesterbro, but even then it was only a 20 minute walk into the middle of Copenhagen. You're 10 minutes away at most from the main harbour, probably 5 minutes if you can cross the road without getting hit by a bike.
  18. 17 for 5 now, debutant Ferguson just been ran out by a direct hit.
