  1. And ever since Dougie started going on about other managers commenting on the way we play... we've started playing exactly like it. We were mixing it up beforehand. Right now it's one dimensional.

Not watched any of the TV coverage but apparently he's said players were tired? If only we had guys like McGrattan Bearne and Garrity on the bench who should not be anywhere close to tired. If only we had 2 other CBs meaning we didn't have to rely on a garbage OAP playing tired. If only we had a left back who, whilst shit, should also not be tired as he's been back up til Strapp's recent injury.

  2. Pathetic, and the most animated Dougie got was when Bearne didn't fully commit to a challenge. He clearly holds certain players to different standards.

O'Connor should be starting every game at CB. Waters can't complain about being dropped but Tyler French can't even play his own position never mind an unfamiliar one. Broadfoot is just a joke.

Wilson shocking but we are used to that when is returning from injuries. Seems to take him longer than most to get back into his stride. Unfortunately we don't really have much time...

Power think he's actually in a retirement league.

Blues and Crawford might as well have stayed in the house tonight (and for the last few weeks).

Quitongo getting man of the match was presumably a joke?

Muirhead effort levels seemed to increase towards the end. The game started at 19:45, Robbie...

Ryan Mullen has been excellent for us this year and we missed him badly when he was injured and I'm very pleased he is signed for next season.

Looking at the video of the game from yesterday I struggle to understand why he didn't save the Dunfermline goal. It looks like a routine catch which he just completely misjudged.

Ryan lost a family member during the week unfortunately so maybe he's just had a mental lapse with his head not fully in the game.

Agree he's been superb for us otherwise. I'd be surprised if he didn't end up at a higher level.

  4. If O'Connor was fully fit he should have started.

If Strapp wasn't injured, he shouldn't have been taken off. Waters is rancid.

If Robbie Muirhead wants to roll back the years then he can f**k off in the summer.

Garrity has been our best player in the last 2 games and he's been a second half sub in both...

Broadfoot didn’t gift hearts their goal. And he certainly didn’t have a stinker at Firhill. Seems like by including both of those falsities that you do in fact have a problem with him.

I’d have O’Connor in too but Broadfoot’s distribution is far superior so at least Oakley should have more to work with with him in the side.

Suggest you watch both back and try it with your eyes opened this time.

We're a far better team without him.

  6. What in the name of f**k was Robbie Muirhead doing for their goal? Weak, half arsed, then throwing himself to the deck for no reason at all.

Other than, a great performance from the team and we ran them closer than I expected us to. Hopefully we can carry that into the league and secure a playoff spot.

  7. Glad to see that the majority of fans did not turn on the team today in what was a very lacklustre performance.

That's right up there with the very worst refereeing I've seen at any level of football.

However, we could still be playing now and I don't think we'd be close to scoring a couple of goals anyway.

Thankfully the other results haven't really gone against us, and despite today's result it's entirely possible that we go and get another unexpected win against Dundee Utd in our next game.

We need both Mullen and Oakley back asap.

  8. Pretty dire performance but some of the fans were pretty harsh and I think Blues retaliating was fair. He was given pelters for a pass going back the way but he was constantly looking for Jai who was not giving him anything to work with at all. Jai obviously needed the minutes but I was surprised to see him out for the 2nd half tbh. Waters is another that needed minutes but could've had no complaints if he was hooked at half time. The whole team is clearly better with Strapp in there.

  9. Just spotted a tweet from the club yesterday blaming the fans for the absolute shit show at the turnstiles yesterday...

I got stuck in the stationary traffic around Weir St/Sinclair St and didn't get outside the ground on foot until 5 past 3 so I'm not blaming the club for me missing the kick off but it was at least 20 past 3 by the time I got inside the stadium. At that point in time there would've been absolutely no harm in just opening the gates and letting folk in. No one is standing there at 10 past 3 queuing without a legitimate ticket...

God forbid we draw one of the old firm at Cappielow... will need to turn up about 2 hours in advance to get in on time.

  10. I missed the first 20 mins due to the traffic chaos along Weir Street and surrounding areas. From the minute I got in til the half time whistle we dominated the game and could/should have been more than 1 up.

Second half Partick were better and had most of the chances, although we did have a couple ourselves with Muirhead putting one over the bar from about 4 yards out.

I've liked Blues in the wide midfield role but thought when he moved centrally we were at our poorest today.

    Draw was fair.

The less said about the ref the better. Didn't look fit to referee a schoolboys game yet with a weekend of no Premier League games he gets one of the bigger games of the weekend somehow... I've no idea who he is but he can't be one of our top refs surely.

  11. I had insane pack luck a while back (Ronaldinho, Mbappe and Zidane were all packed in the same week iirc).

Below is my team but POTM Griezmann usually plays instead of Beto and gold Valverde instead of Gilmour. Everything here is untradable including subs and reserves.

My team felt miles ahead of most at the time, but after a few weeks it was just average. There's way too many cards now, and too much fucking about (Alisson CM card, for example).

Games pretty shit and I lost interest before Christmas to the point I've actually only played 2 games with that Winter Martinelli since doing the SBC.

  12. Pathetic.

Started well, had a few chances, would've likely been 1-0 up if Steven Boyd was a real footballer.

One moment later and Airdrie are ahead.

    We done nothing after that.

Blues isn't a right back. McGrattan isn't a right back. A right back was sitting on the bench.

Power is shite. Wilson is shite.

No creativity or pace in attack.
