That's true and is still more than Moffat got. He was playing in an awful team that were fighting relegation for most of the season. I think he'd get double figures for us, as he did for the previous 5 seasons at a higher level.

Why can't we have both? Moff is a creator, Doolan is a goal scorer.

Good point but he managed to get a move up a league, whereas Doolan has offers at our level so hopefully we have more chance.

We have been poor against Inverness all season and that will have to change tonight if we are going to progress. Both teams are better away from home so I'm hoping we can at least get a draw and give ourselves a good chance in the second leg. No more injuries would also be nice, as we are struggling with them as it is and can barely field a defence. I hope Smith being taken off was just a precaution and he makes it as otherwise Doc will probably have to play right back. 3/4 fit defenders is a big worry, but we should still have enough to at least be competitive. Ayr 1-1 Inverness (Shankland, Austin).

Dobbie, Nisbet or Henderson would be good signings but doubtful we would get any of them for various reasons. I think a loan move would be more likely and I would take Rudden, Anderson, Aitchison or Hornby if possible.

Indeed we need to win this for the extra prize money and confidence heading into the playoffs.
