Big Rusty McLean signed up on a two year extension! He was showing promising signs just before his unfortunate injury. Hopefully he can kick on and be a great striker for us. A lot of potential there and SP obviously recognizes that.

Great to see all the players celebrating with the fans at the end after a fantastic away three points. In great form and the whole squad is playing well. Brilliant achievement securing safety. At the start of the season if you had offered 4th spot with three games to go........well.

No one is having a go at him. All I was saying was that I think SP is getting more and more annoyed with him. Flem has done a great job in the time he has been with us so I agree with you.

It was evident that SP was absolutely raging with Fleming letting in that Stranraer free kick on Saturday. He wont be happy with not getting a clean sheet but clearly felt Flem could have done better. I personally would be surprised if Flem is with us next year as I think SP is getting more and more annoyed with him. It will not be easy to get two good keepers in the summer.

I agree I agree Moonster! He is good enough for the championship and in my opinion should have been given at least another year at United however this is a rumour that has been going about for a few weeks. He did love his time with the club and loved playing for Petrie.

No worries. Absolutely, thought Tez was terrific on sat and I would personally have given him MOTM instead of Fleming. He worked his socks off and showed why I think he should be in the team every week.

Apparently he is a striker. Competition already for next season. CJ, Rennie, Skelly already signed up. SP will have to decide if he wants to keep Russel McLean as he is only signed until the end of this season. Potentially already have 5 strikers for next season with Lyons on boarding.

Have to admit I am very surprised at this. Thought he was going to assess his options at the end of the season as I am sure he wasnt going to be short of them, honestly thought we may have had a chance but fair play to him. Loyalty at this level is not common especially with the risk of playing in league 2 next season.

We were pish on Saturday, in fact that's two weeks in a row of being pish! With McLean and CJ both out for a few weeks I wonder if SP will think about re-calling Skelly. Rennie really struggled against Airdrie and Henderson missed two great chances so bringing a match fit Skelly might be a decent option..

Was at Ochilview twice last season to witness fantastic victories for the Mo. Hoping we secure a valuable three points tomorrow too. Can't imagine SP will change the team after such a convincing win last Saturday however our new giant of a striker will be itching for a start. I predict Sad Stenny 1 - Mo Mo Super Mo 3

Got to be happy with McLean. Sad to see Ferguson, Cavanagh and Millar go but to see Milne and McLean come in I think the club has carried out brilliant business this window. Genuine quality and you can already tell SP and Ross are gearing up for next season. McLean looked a very good player with a lot of potential last season, just seems to have lost his way a bit this season and he was always going to struggle to get a starting place with Lyle signing for Peterhead in the summer.

A replacement for McGuigan because he is joining the champions [emoji41]
