  1. Kilbride Thistle AFC (Ayrshire AFA) are looking for a friendly for either this saturday or monday night. Home, away or neutral venue is fine with us. Anyone who fancies a run out send us a message. Cheers
  2. Scottish Cup Round 6 Sat 03/02/18

Well done to Oban Saints today. Good mix of experience and youth but everyone of them knows how to win a game of football. No complaints from us today, we had a bad one but that’s credit to our visitors. All the best to The Oban lads. Only a brave man will right them off.
  3. Ayrshire Select Squad

He's a smashing big player. Strong, fast, hard as nails and can finish. When he's fit he's murder to play against.
  4. Ayrshire Select Squad

I don't know the new manager but I wish him and his management team all the best and I hope he makes a success of it. I seen David Donald and Davie Henry have been called up for Sunday's game. DD in particular has been a top performer locally for a couple of years now, massive talent and Big Davie Henry is a great signing for Ardeer West from the juniors so they 2 alone are a bit of freshness in the squad. Good luck to them and all the boys called up.
  5. Over 35s Scottish cup final

My first year involved with running a new over 35s team in Ayrshire (I'm too young to play [emoji5]) and I've been impressed overall. Still some good players and brilliant to see guys still playing and being active at a fair age. There's also a guy who plays for Valley Vets who won the junior Scottish cup with Kilbirnie Ladeside in 1977. Absolute legend. Well done to all involved with the 35s.
  6. Ayrshire amateur football

Well done to Shortlees today. Best team and deserved the win. Some of the best players in ayrshire in that squad. All the best to them for the season.
  7. Ayrshire amateur football

Tough opening game for us yesterday against Hurlford Thistle. They have strengthened from last year and look good. Some of the signings will do very well for them. Rory Campbell flying under the radar with the lads upfront getting a lot of attention (rightly so because they're top drawer) but rory will be a brilliant signing for Hurlford. He'll be giving license and he'll destroy teams, especially at St Joes. As for us, we never really got going yesterday and lost soft goals. The boys worked their socks off for each other and at 2-1 we thought we might've been able to sneak an equaliser but Hurlford got the next 2 goals and a well deserved victory for them. Onto the West Kilbride Derby for us against our friends West Kilbride Amateurs on Monday night now. That will be a real hard game again but one we're looking forward to.
  8. Ayrshire friendly results

Good pre season game both teams will benefit from. New Farm have always been a good team but with the new management and players they'll step it up another level. We're delighted with our boys at Kilbride Thistle for the effort put in, good result against a good team especially with a lot of players missing (it's that time of year!) Also worth mentioning the post match hospitality was superb as well at The Charleston. Good luck to Faz and the boys for the season. They've got a good thing going over there.
  9. CLARK DRIVE struggling ???????

Good to read Clark Drive will be going again this season. It would've been a shame to see them fold. Hopefully they can get their house in order and kick on now.
