There seems to be a fair bit of ' board bashing' on here and on the Facebook page, I think we were all of the opinion when Murray went th at McCabe was worth a punt, but it could go pete tong pretty quick and it has, could the club have given them a support structure as previously stated, absolutely, did McCabe and co want it after their decent start. ???? How now do we rectify the situation and target 4th place ( Full Time is that good enough ???). We're our expectations too high this season after failing miserably to get promoted in our best season and points total in many many years.... A lot of questions at the moment with not many answers, and for the record I do not go with the theory of financial issues..

Heard today that Wylie was recalled by Celtic due to lack of game time, which was one of t he terms of his loan.... Arguably not a great loss but this happened at the 11 th hour, We could have a million pound to sign players, no use to you when you cannot sign anybody, this lies squarely at the door of McCabe and we really will need to get used to days like this, we have been found out, January window could help would you trust him to sign players though.... Interesting interview with Callum Smith onDTV claiming he is only feeling match sharp now WTF have they been doing in training for the last 3 months (Smith is our most committed player)..I I personally don't think PH will wait too long till our player manager becomes a player only....

Well that IMO was a frantic shambles, The 2 fullbacks Watson and Ballantyne were atrocious, Ballantyne could have been red carded at his first booking, shocking tackle. Queens put dangerous crosses in all game with us seemingly unwilling to do the hard yards and get tight and stop the cross, this isn't helped when we play 3 forward players, the midfielders are getting overrun, men against boys, Wilson, Todd and Cochrane for Queens outmuscled our 'boys'... I was all for Rhys stepping back into defenc e, but it created an even bigger hole in midfield, Yet again our lack of depth killed us, Queens put on 4 experienced subs and really took control, Telfer, McMaster and Smith were on there knees at the end, and we could have refreshed it with Deveney coming on...... Apparently Wylie has been sent back to Celtic and Sal to stranrae r with no replacements, absolutely crazy and Rhys really needs to get his head together, we are in a tailspin and I cannot really see us getting out of it short term and it is self inflicted..... The strip looked alright but quality wise looks and feels terrible, what makes the strip look worse though is supporters buying the wrong size it doesn't cost anymore to size up ffs .....

Saw him at he game at kelty, still in a,sling and looked a long way from playing_I would think around January time for return. ( guess)

Well what a disappointing few days, the loaner window came, and went with no activity apart from our most physical striker and only o ne in our squad who can compete for a header, Good luck Sal... Onto the game with a predictable look about the team, on paper it looks decent enough, the whole process just seems to be unravelling piece by piece just now... Main issue we have is our strikers Jam ieson and McGI'll give us nothing, McGillseems undroppable as said before is Gal not starting due to is Part Time status, there has to be some reason... Watson and J Devenney dropped out to shoehorn our management team into the Line up, Fordyce is a shadow of the player of last season, constantly giving the ball away playing out from the back and getting pulled all over the place, Ma baw McCabe sat just in front of the defence and played crossfielld hollywood balls all game, constantly switching play on a tight pitch which now and again is a good tactic, but we couldn't build up any momentum or gain territory due t o it.... although our bench and squad is light, changes should have been made, that's the last 2_games opposing managers have been brave putting on fresh legs in attacking areas and it as paid off, Salmon bullied us for the winner last week and Alfie wanted the ball more than our defence today to slot home.... Looking at our coaching setup on the bench, they offer nothing but water bottles, Prunty and Hutts for all there faults were always passionate and involved, now nothing, something not right with the setup.. We have Montrose coming up on Tuesday if we drop that we are in a tailspin,

We were spouting the same pish, we only have 15 outfield players now after letting Sali m go to Stranraer on loan, absolutely crazy... -
Let's not get caught up in this Goodwillie pish, the real story here is why an already threadbare squad has lost another player with seeming!y no one replacing him, especially with McCabe and Fordyce looking for wee gems to increase and improve the squad..? a totally bizarre situation at the culmination of a clusterfu k of a squad building process...

Supposedly a Colin Nish type of front man.. -
The crowds Falkirk get are about 4 times what Airdrie are averaging (1k) and I am led to believe you guys are paying substantially more a week ( upper championship wages apparently) than ourselves, possibly approx double an average Airdrie wage, we are no means flush, but seem very well run and seem stable enough..... What has happened at Falkirk too many noses in the trough ex directors etc, We are lifers in League 1 and Falkirk better watch as they could be as well, if austerity starts to hit home.... Interesting times.....

It very much seems promotion or bust, or could this be described as High Risk. High Reward...

How many senior pros have you got, I think Airdrie are couple short minimum and we have 18... -
Saddle up guys and gals, for an exciting couple of days, The well documented loanee window closes on Friday at midnight, surely we will land a wee gem at the last minute to boost our 18 man squad, I hope and expect this too happen... You never know they might end up modelling this season's new home kit which is getting launched this week (apparently)......

Great loan signing, a goalscoring energetic midfielder. The type of player we were crying out for... -
Would be very surprised if Alan Johnston and Sandy Clark were not strongly linked with this gig

Surely it's only a matter of time till Pollok go 'co ntactless' at the pie stall.. yet another weird quirk in the world of senior football -

Taggart or Cammy Ballantyne, for me Taggs is a far more solid player in different positions, or put it this way he always plays well against Airdrie -
It's all about opinions I would start Salim as centre over Jameson and McGill all day long, he should have had 2 goals that Jamieson or McGill wouldn't have been in the position to score. Midfield was decent all night until the last 15 when they tired the drop off in fitness was alarming, McMaster, Devenney and Telfer all faded and should have been replaced, if Rhys was serious about his cup..Alloa made 4 changes to win the game and credit to them, we made 3 subs with 2 in injury time with seconds to go. AT S absolutely strolled it tonight a n d has surely played his way into the starting 11 ...or indeed keep his place

Wasn't a fan of the strip when it was unveiled, It looks a much better kit on the pitch, agree had a hint of the Faddy strip and it's Fila predecessor as well....
