  1. Quite obviously. No player has that many teams interested without a deal being offered eventually. However he’s chosen a team who has made every possible effort to sign him and made it clear that they accept they are a stepping stone for many players.,
  2. After reading that, you can see he’s got a great mentality. I agree he could have gone to bigger and better clubs but FRG clearly showed a desire to get him and he knows he’s going to be playing every week. Something I doubt would happen with the likes of Aberdeen, Hibs etc from what he’s said. FGR aren’t a club that will stop him from moving on when the time is right.
  3. Surprised with the general reaction. I really like how they’ve put a modern twist on a classic shirt. Agree the sponsor could look better but no complaints otherwise.
  4. I get ST holders have likely contributed too but its a kick in the stones for non-ST holders. Could they have done a open ballot for all and maybe give ST ticket holders a double chance. To be completely excluded after all the financial support fans in my position does seem rather unfair.
  5. Probably an unpopular opinion but don’t agree with decision to allow only season ticket holders to the game. I have been in the past but haven’t been receiving although I attend pretty much every home game, contributed a couple of times to the donate a ticket as well as the go fund me. The cash flow from PATG tickets are just as important as season tickets and I know i’m not the only one who has been excluded from fixtures for the foreseeable because of this.
  6. Where has this suggestion come from that we’ll sign King? I’ve seen nothing other than a few questionable characters on here thinking we will. I think the fact he struggled to get into our team last season even with McGlynn seeing regularly in training suggests he just isn’t good enough. Whilst we’re just chucking names out there, i’ll through Michael Gardyne’s name in the mix.
  7. Forwards are versatile and can often play either side and in the middle which he’s proven he’s used before. If we had long-term injuries were to occur then he would likely revert to an emergency loan, not waste on a permanent signing.
  8. So you think McGlynn will waste a tight budget on 5 people for 2 positions?
  9. Only problem with this is the increase in price and what based on form appears to be a poorer team that last year. If we made some impressive signings, they might just have gotten away with the increase in price but recruiting Connolly, Zanatta and Dick aren’t going to appease concerns. Add to this the likelihood of losing Hendry.
  10. Isn’t it more the fact that ST price’s would have been higher last season due to us being in the championship and was discounted due to the shortened season and the likely result of not being able to view any games.
  11. Bene, arguably one of our better players last season... think you need to step away from the bottle. Almost definitely a back 3 next year consisting primarily of Bene Berra and Musonda with both Lang and McKay pushing them when they get the chance.
  12. I’m starting to think Hendry and Spencer will re-sign. Don’t know why, probably just over optimism. Would love Gullan to sign permanently, not sure how likely this would be though.
  13. Absolutely delighted Musonda has re-signed but leave me questioning who McGlynn’s favoured partnership will be (if we have stick with a back 4). Bene was arguably our best centre back last season, Musonda was great and showed real potential, cant see Berra signing unless he was guaranteed game time, Lang apparently has a promising future but needs to play to fulfil that and I think we can say we’ve seen similar signs with McKay. McGlynn’s given himself a headache but certainly not a bad problem to have. Kind of gutted to see Ugwu go. Certainly no world beater but done well when he was given a run of games and gave us a plan B and was good at holding the ball up and bringing others into play. I think if we can somehow keep Hendry, we can certainly push towards the top next season. Would be happy to keep Spencer too, I don’t think he was given the credit he deserved. Armstrong is a loss. Good attitude, filled in multiple positions and had a good season in terms of goals and assists. I trust McGlynn however that he can get someone in equally as good, if not better.
  14. Anyone heard or seen anything about next seasons kits? Home kit was announced at the end of May last year, would imagine would be a similar time again.
  15. Probably not strong enough at that age for the Championship but Delano Splatt plays with Bowie. You’ll find him in this https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57093297
  16. I don’t recall King having an acceptable performance in his time with us. Maybe the same reason you think Mendy should be in our squad.
  17. Very much the same feeling as myself. I think taking a lead up to Dens is Vital. Their surface doesn’t suit our preferred way of playing as we seen only a few weeks ago.
  18. Would expect to see either Lang and or McKay sent out on loan if that happens and maybe bring in 1 more. Certainly a strength and depth for the Championship though.
