  1. Absolutely battered them. Makeshift back 3 worked a treat. O'Reilly was superb considering he's not had a club all season and Brown and Millen were also tremendous at the back. Sam Stanton is the best player in the championship please get him signed up on a new deal Rovers.
  2. Love that line-up no need for defenders against this lot. 6-0 Rovers
  3. Rovers v Falkirk final at the KDM stadium? that would be some laugh.
  4. Still greeting about paying an extra £4 5 weeks after the match. Get a grip ffs. Don't think I seen one Dundee United fan complain about the price and there were far more of them at Starks. Nobody is forcing you to pay it. Can't believe anyone would rather sit in a house watching it on a shitey firestick than having a day out with your mates or family, a few pints in different town and enjoying the derby day atmosphere all for the sake of having to spend an extra £4.
  5. Who would you drop to put Brown back into midfield? If everyone is fit I don't think Brown makes it into our best 11 anymore. Seems mad saying that but I think Byrne is better and the times we've played Brown and Byrne together we've not been great.
  6. Naw he is from the Links. Young Linktown Derry was always the local gang name and I don't think it has any sectarian meaning behind it. the guy is involved in some good things in the local community but there is no excuse for associating the club with this sort of shite. Good luck saying what to who?
  7. The uda/loyalist flags belong to the fat old baldy clown at the back centre of the picture. He is well known down the Links for covering his house in these type flags anytime an orange walk is in town. I sometimes go in the Estuary before games for a pint and have never seen him in there before. Probably the young lads with the union jack rovers flag have had a few drinks and he's roped them into getting into getting these silly pictures taken. Don't think there is anything wrong with the lads Rovers flag. You see these flags at Aberdeen, Motherwell and even hibs that are union jack design with club own colours instead of traditional union jack colours. Nothing to be getting upset about.
  8. I'm not 100% as I'm no rules expert maybe someone can clarify. Wasn't at game today. What happened to Thomson? Did it look a bad injury?
  9. Don't think he can be recalled until the transfer window opens in January.
  10. Really enjoyed watching that. More of these please RaithTV
  11. Hope some of you who posted during the match are feeling rather silly now. Don't get the criticism for the manager some were giving out. Stuck with the team who won at the KDM last week and our first half performance was excellent. Lost our way for a bit at start of 2nd half which in my opinion was due to Hamilton going off for Gullan. Even though Hamilton hasn't been great we look much better when he is on the pitch. Players showed great determination and character yet again to stick in and get the win which i think we deserved in the end. This time last year you could have written us off at 1-2 down but we are a different animal this season it seems.
  12. Aye saw him getting treatment but no idea he was choking. Pretty heroic of him to cheat death and still play the full 90 minutes. Fair play to the boy
  13. Was quite disappointed in Byrne’s behaviour whilst Fisher was choking as well. Not befitting of what I’d expect from him, even if he’s wearing a Raith shirt. Wtf is this shite about? Never saw anyone choking?
  14. Didn't play great but went 1-0 up and saw it out fairly comfortably. Thought we were more likely to get a 2nd on the break than they were to score.
  15. Yes he was very good in the penalty shootouts. And fair point about Cuthbert who turned out to be very good for us Not saying he should be making saves that no other keeper at this level can make. He hasn't made any saves that you would not expect any competent goalkeeper at this level to make imo. When watching Mcgurn, Macdonald or Scott Thomson in goal for Rovers they would often make saves which you would say saved us points and occasionally made saves that they had no right to make and very rarely would a shot get past them and you would think it should have been saved. Those 3 are probably the best 3 keepers I've seen at the club and like Dabrowski none of then were particularly good with ball at their feet or commanding their box but made up for that by being excellent shot-stoppers. Maybe I am being harsh but just think we are taking a big gamble on this keeper. The new owners have backed the manager very well and we have the potential to have an excellent season but no team achieves anything without a decent goalkeeper.
  16. Absolute nonsense. Macdonald was the best shot stopper in the championship in both of his seasons with us. He would have made standard saves from both of those efforts.
  17. So to have an opinion on a player you've got to have played at the level they are in their particular position? May as well just close down the forum then. Teams have been putting a man on the keeper at corners like that for as long as I've been watching football, it can't be used as an excuse for a keeper letting balls get crossed to within a few yards of his goal. Crediting him for playing a part in that goal is wild. He has yet to make a save that I don't think any other keeper at this level would make. He hasn't had any howlers but no way can anyone say that some of the goals he has let in haven't been savable. Jamie Macdonald saves those Morton and Hibs second goals everytime. He may have made a good few errors last year but no one can argue he saved far more points than he cost us. Hope I am wrong of course and Dabrowski goes on to be a good keeper but early signs don't look good.
  18. Dabrowski is terrible with his feet. Hopeless at dealing with crosses and has already let in a few goals that looked well savable. How you can say he is way better than a keeper who has went on to be a decent Premier league keeper is beyond me. Hopefully the manager/dof are looking at bringing a keeper in on loan or something because it seems obvious to me gk is going to be our week point this season.
  19. Love the wee videos like this the club have been putting out recently. Think I'll have to phone in sick to work and go to the game tomorrow after watching that.
  20. I reckon it will be Arbroath. Been in the Championship long enough time for them to get back down to where they belong. would be nice not having to worry about the dirty hammer throwers trying to injure our players 4 times a year.
