  1. I found a £2 coin on Sunday and thought I'll waste it on Queens to win vs. Montrose. Must be good odds - geez did I get a surprise when I saw the odds. (Apologies £2 on Montrose; though I would be delirious if we won)
  2. Week 1 Dunfermline Week 2 Queens Park Week 3 Hamilton Week 4 Falkirk Week 5 Dundee United
  3. Well I voted for him as next manager -so that means f..ck all I know, but hope it goes well for him which means Queens will improve. Then I can go to the pub and celebrate - for a change. Walked to the pub at 1-0; No surprise it was 1-1 just after and then I hoped ( but knew really) that there was going to be a winner and it wasn't us. Fingers crossed for the rest of the season ... unlike the defence who seem to have their legs crossed.
  4. After that tonight I'm taking nothing for granted about getting 8th place until the maths shows we can't get 9th ( or 10th). Now we should/might/ who the f*ck knows ? be ok but ............................................. Alcohol required
  5. Your poor mother! Mmm . - Yes didn't phrase that very well. .
  6. I'd travelled down from Perth to "visit" my mother and at half time I thought "That was a waste of f**cking time" It was great to be wrong !
  7. Great news. Just had an email from Panasonic telling me that my TV is going to break down at 7.30 pm on Friday 12th February 2021. They said it should be fixed by midnight ; but I refused their kind offer of a wind up radio for the evening. There will be enough of that later
  8. I remember watching Charlie Adam playing against Queens for St.Mirren? around 2004 or 2005 ish and thinking that he was a class above most on the pitch that day. On Saturday it would be nice to see a bit of dig and at least compete against Dundee but then again.......... Oh well not long till 2021 where it will of course be better
  9. Appreciate a bit behind the times but just seen the video. Not on any parallel universe is that a dive and how that appeals mob can't see it's not a dive. I think they should be made to publish their discussion and findings. At least no shitey U21 teams got to the final.
  10. FFS - Not a good time to have a slump in form...obviously !!! And there was me hoping for a happy birthday day out next Saturday. I suppose I'll still have to go - too bloody right!! Fingers crossed for Tuesday too
  11. Apologies for not knowing many of the players - lived in Perth too long !! As far as I could see it was the same team as started last week started today - Don't think Tremble played though- looked like a different no 9. 3-0 down at half time. Looked like Gardiner went into back 4 at half time and no 6 went into mid field. He played well; 7 Ivison ? had a good game and the rest of defence not too bad either. They all worked hard but Saints were just that wee bit slicker in their passing; Getting the ball forward without the extra touch.
  12. As was the Chairman and GN and Tommy Wright. Followed by a visit to The Cherrybank - fine way to spend an afternoon ...apart from the result.
  13. My first Queens game was in the dim distant past of October 1963 when I was 8. QoS reserves vs.Rangers reserves. Daft question but I see they're playing on Monday. Can I get into see the game? I seem to remember they lost at least 4-1 - might have been more. It was a dull dreich day and they were 4-0 down when Queens scored and someone shouted "Come on Queens you've got them rocking now" - strange what you remember. Also be driving down on Saturday with St.Johnstone fans in the car - oh for a pleasant drive home.
  14. I have to admit that when I look at the highlights I always stop after the Rangers fans suffer that attack of laryngitis. Just to stay on that happy memory high !!! Watched it last night and I still got goose bumps. I had of course watched the semi final first. Train down from Perth that day gave much amusement to the Aberdeen fans - strangely enough a lot quieter going home apart from the sound of some self flagellation. (the Dons fans not me !!!) --- happy days
  15. 2015-16 42 points; 2016-17 43 points; 2017-18 43 points so far...or is that it for the season?
  16. .....and relax...Down today and back to Perth tomorrow so I shall follow on the net !!
  17. I think I shall make definite plans to go to games and change my mind at the last minute. Twice this season - Dunfermline 5-2 and now tonight! Which game will I not go to next???
