  1. They look like Joma or something with a Nike badge - and not even a genuine Nike badge - stuck on top of the Joma logo. Weird and not in a good way.
  2. 9 in the league - never heard of that made up word. 5 in the Comedy - think I knew all those 5, and got none of my guesses right. Starting to understand how @Jacksgranda feels...
  3. There was an interview with the Communist Party candidate (who ultimately came second) I saw. Hilarious stuff. "What do you think you can do different to Mr Putin?" "I don't know. It's up to the voters to decide" "But why should anyone vote for you?" "That's up to the voters" "Is there anything you think you could do better than Mr Putin?" "I don't think that's a very fair question. President Putin is doing a fantastic job. Anyway, it is up to the voters to decide" Is Vlad's ego so fragile that he has to hand pick clown candidates to win a sham election? He'd likely still win handsomely even if they stuck some semi competent people up there and allowed them a modicum of TV Coverage. What a tiny, pathetic man he is.
  4. Record turnout. Putin managed to get 80 odd percent in the Ukrainian oblasts they've annexed too. Somehow...
  5. Assuming this is Italy's best ever performance in the 6 Nations with 2 wins and a draw (that should have really been three wins)?
  6. One nice touch they always do (as far as I know, even after a heavy defeat) is that the captain gives his armband to a young kid in the crowd. You just saw a shot of Benedictus doing it tonight at the end. Anyway, very good performance in the main - Fagan-Walcott was very good in the first half and the bizarre change of shape from United worked in our favour as we were happy to go man for man at the back and let our wing backs push on. Nicely worked goal by Jakubiak then Ritchie-Hosler to play in Todd but no idea what the United centre half was doing, letting Todd just drift off while he went to block a square ball that was never coming. Nice calm finish after a couple of games where he's looked to be trying too hard. Second goal was similar in that it went from our left to right across the edge of the area and it was a tidy finish. Felt we let them into things a bit much after that and Hamilton was fortunate to still be oh the park at half time. The change of shape probably helped United slightly after the break but what a catalogue of errors for the third goal. Losing the ball in a simple one on one challenge with nobody supporting behind, then three centre halves all going to the ball leaving Ritchie-Hosler all on his own to finish. Crazy stuff. He's quite confident with things like that having came through the ranks at Man City then Rangers and he was never missing. After that we could see it out and we didn't look to be in much trouble at all until the changes and the quick goal. I admit I was a bit worried they'd get a quick second and possibly then grab an equaliser but they didn't really create that much and we still had legs on the break. Crazy, stupid, bonkers division. We have a winning record against the league leaders now (on goal difference at least!) and could still finish 4th but equally we're still in danger of going down. Keep up that intensity and get Chris Kane back and we should be OK but who knows in this league?
  7. I don't either but the way he was pointing at Hamilton to try and get him a second yellow justifies it IMO Also, Hamilton got an elbow and then a head into his own face - where he'd been playing with a broken cheekbone until very recently - and while it was accidental and he didn't complain about it, Michael Stewart went on and on about players rolling about. The man thinks he's insightful but he's just a dribbling simpleton.
  8. It's quite a weird list. I wouldn't say I'm knowledgeable about Mr Beast, but any videos of his I have seen are reasonably entertaining, he seems quite philanthropic, and he doesn't come out with incel pish, right wing nonsense or conspiracy theories. About the only thing he has in common is a high number of followers on social media (in his case, mostly YouTube).
  9. Don't mind the different patterns on the front but the yellow is horrid. I get that the template demands the wee flashes on the hip, but did they have to be so bright, so noticeable, so different from the rest of the kit? And the added "bonus" of the yellow on the shorts? Ghastly. At least the white shorts don't look quite so bad. The away? Very Meh for me. Don't like it, don't hate it.
  10. You can buy paper tickets from the wee portacabin in the corner or buy online via our hideously clunky website. Won't be a big crowd in the home end I wouldn't have thought.
  11. Can I interest you in an experienced Turkish goalkeeper who, while under contract, I'm sure we'd allow to leave for a minimal fee...?
  12. Strange New Worlds is indeed good, and of you don't want to pay for Paramount Plus, Sky and Amazon Prime do a free month trial so you can easily binge watch both series within a month, even if its just one episode a night.
  13. Indeed. Ignore me, I must have (and really should have) given up after the first post.
  14. He's been champing at the bit to get back apparently. My old man was speaking to Andy Tod, Son of God in Asda the other week. Sadly he was also saying that he doesn't get to many games these days due to his police commitments.
  15. If we did have to revamp the Scottish Cup, I'd do only two things: 1. If teams are 2 or more leagues/tiers apart, home advantage automatically goes to the lower ranked team. 2. Replays are in the competition as the default result of a drawn tie, but if both clubs agree then the game can go straight to extra time and kicks from the penalty mark. Would allow for a bit of lattitude around player fatigue and fixture congestion but still allow for replays where at least one club wants it.
