  1. But if you're having party food you might as well put the coffee away and crack open a beer
  2. Going to CS Strollers v Peterhead, treating ourselves to 'Hospitality'. Anyone know if there's any kind of dress code? I can't find any info, but for £30 I cant imagine I need shirt and tie to be honest
  3. Think you're in the wrong thread, party food is fucking brilliant
  4. 2 days turned out to be the best part of a month, but we are back and back with a bang. Week 12: Hib$ (0-1 Ross County (A)) Blair Spittals pin point cross enough to send HIbs back down the road with the Potato for the third week running. It was all a bit much for poor wee Martin Boyle who chose to get sent off rather than take part in the next Hot Potato fixture. Coming up on Saturday, last seasons Betfred Cup semi finalists and Scottish Cup runners up travel to Perth to take on last seasons Betfred Cup Winners and Scottish Cup winners St Johnstone (have I mentioned that before?) St Johnstone had quite a run with the Potato last season so will be looking to see it off comfortably this weekend. As an aside, thanks to Hibs coughing all over each other this is probably the point where week numbers get fucked up, but I'm just going to pretend its all ok. We may or may not end up with week 38. We will end up with a Hot Potato winner loser
  5. In a thrilling twist, one neighbour has come to get theirs. Apparently she asked them to deliver it today instead but for some reason they didn't. Oh well. Neighbour 2 still has 2 boxes here but I believe they do not work from home so they are mine for the day at least
  6. I've been wfh this week but won't be next week. I have 3 parcels at my door for 2 immediate neighbours, since Wednesday. My assumption would be that they would have come next door on Wednesday evening to pick them up, but so far nothing. When do they become mine?
  7. Ours just turned one, so time to move on from his puppy food - hes a springer spaniel, anyone got any recommendations of brand to use or avoid? Pup: Birthday Boy:

Would rather it was Shaun Rooney but I'll take it
  9. I changed them myself when we moved in, its ridiculously easy. But when it goes wrong I ask the kind people of P&B and they deliver. Locksmith mate of mine says WD40 is a very temporary solution as it just evaporates away. He uses a powdery carbon stuff. Will maybe avoid WD40 then, although I do have a spare handle/lock that could easily replace it if it went tits up
  10. A combination of loosening the screws and as much force as I can got it open, cheers. Handle is still a bit sticky so think i'll just drown the inside of the fucker in wd40 to see if that helps
  11. I took it off and couldn't see an issue, which might be down to me not knowing what to look for. Nothing obvious anyway. P&B never fails to deliver. Just in case anyone is wondering I've opened all the windows and turned the heating on full blast
  12. The back door to my house is jammed. It locks and unlocks as normal, but the handle wont depress to open the fucking thing. What can I do, aside from asking a man to come round and smash my back doors in?

Agreed, seemed a lot would start to play normally and then when I nailed him with a shocker, remembered it was no rules. Generally would proceed to kick f**k out of each other. I'm in the same boat, would love some SPFL content, still annoyed through all of Silver Stars last year there wasn't one from the Premiership
  14. If we're all "Gods Children" what the f**k makes Jesus so special
  15. Week 11: Hibernian (1-3 Celtic (H)) Hibs retain the Hot Potato for another 2 days at least, next up for them is a trip to Dingwall. County fresh off absolutely demolishing Dundeee last night, will be keen to send the potato back to Leith.
  16. Are Hearts as bad as Hibs for the "teams like St Johnstone" patter? I thought they were but so far everybody seems pretty level headed. No place for that. Should be beating teams like Hearts IMO
  17. Well would you look at that, a victory for statistics and Dave Cormacks data boys. To paraphrase The Beatles - "When you find yourselves in times of trouble, Hibs will give 3 points to you" Week 10: Hibernian (0-1 Aberdeen (A)) Next up for the title/relegation contenders, a home game against buoyant (bhuoyant?) Celtic who will be riding high after a victory against the reigning double champions.

Played a few games last night and actually enjoyed it. Gameplay is better, have to take a touch then pass more often than not as otherwise it'll probably not go as planned. Feels much more realistic since they patched ridiculous finesse shots too. Up to Div 4 and now got 1500 points, so next question is how the f**k does it work from here? I can play playoffs anytime, and need to win 5/9 to get Champions entry? And from there is Weekend League still Friday-Sunday?
  19. Fully expect to hear "That's a statement not a question"
  20. Dundee victorious in the first real relegation 6-pointer this season. Week 9: Aberdeen (1-2 Dundee (A)) Aberdeen without a win since Willie Miller was a wee lad, and Dave Cormack shouting to anyone who will listen about statistics. Hilarious. Dons next 6 is against the current top six, this could get very funny indeed. First up is Hibs at Pittodrie followed by a trip to Ibrox.
