  1. I don’t think it is incompetence with the officials. Clearly 10 minutes added time which was not warranted. How many yellow cards and poor decisions. How are clubs meant to exist with the power of one individual to dictate the terms of an afternoon? It happened last Tuesday too.
  2. This has been my thinking for some time. Maurice’s body language speaks volumes when things go astray. I take he’s as frustrated as the rest of us but the product on the pitch yesterday does not bear any relationship with his well documented video interviews.
  3. McKendrick was the referee in the first leg play off up north. He spoiled the game as it was pretty even at 1-1. Useless. Cove however, will most likely win the league and deserved to win today but they lack character and there’s still a lot of football to be played.
  4. With some humility and strength of character Cove might have beaten Cowdenbeath fair and square
  5. Used to think you were a decent poster. Have to adjust my thinking there. Gross collective generalisation. Unjustified arrogance.
  6. Unremarkable is commonplace in League 2. Hope it’ll be tasty after the remarkable Harvest Swann debacle.
  7. None of us are rolling in cash. What’s important though is that people do buy season tickets to support the club if they can afford it in order to keep the club running. It’s surely an investment in our shared future support of the club beyond any normal purchase. It’s a bit wrongheaded to be thinking about getting the ‘better of the deal’ and if that’s the case, then fine, then clearly you won’t be considering any season ticket options. Nothing wrong with paying at the turnstiles at all.
  8. I’m guessing you missed the ‘banter’ from BRFC individuals directed to another league 2 side that finished bottom over the last two seasons?
  9. V disappointing. Travelled after seeing Facebook Match day announcement at 3.30. Wasn’t aware of a pitch inspection announcement. Waste of time.
  10. Nothing against Edinburgh City or their fans or if and however they win the league. Good luck to them. Sometimes ‘banter’ or ‘wind up’ like that is questionable.
  11. A disappointing and juvenile post. This sort of thoughtless disrespect doesn’t contribute anything to football or any sense of community. Lone idiot with a keyboard should consider would they say what they post to someone personally?
  12. You’ve got to remember City beat Arbroath 4-1 on Friday. We are taking points when last year we would have capitulated.
  13. Imagine even coming out with that comment. They’re even having a laugh all over the telly
  14. I agree. It’s excellent news and can only improve our lot.
  15. We missed Jamie Pyper and Jason Talbot today. Lack of concentration and poor game management has set us back. The optimism of the first goal and then chasing the game. We’ve been there too often.
  16. Cove lack the important qualities character and class. They’ve shown no respect for fellow professionals before and after their games with us. Some walked off without shaking hands yesterday. During the match, McManus at least was taken off for his own good by his manager. His sense of entitlement is borne out of his thinking that they will win every week in the Highland league. What better incentive for all teams in the HL and Lowland league to up their game? As has been commented EK were a better team than Cove. They dusted themselves down and came back and beat us in the Scottish Cup. Childish comments on social media after his team fails to beat Cowdenbeath three times have no substance. A response like that is not befitting of any professional. McManus should take a good look at his own performance and think about his future conduct. Saying something rashly is quite different to spouting venom online.
  17. Thanks Jordan. These interviews are terrific and great for lower league football
  18. Finished bottom of the heap last two seasons. The only way is up...
  19. Raith only looked weak in comparison to the collective strength of Cowdenbeath today. We won’t be pushovers this season.
  20. Cowdenbeath and Kelty had a good run out, tried some different formations and a fair number of players on both teams got some game time. I’d say both managers would be happy with the afternoon. Good luck to Kelty in the Lowland league.
