If Gordon Greer made us as tight at the back as St Johnstone tend to be, then I'd bite your hand off to get him in.
We've got the attacking side down - Even if we have lost our biggest proponent of goals.
I just see him as experienced at the back good head on his shoulders and not bad at defending set pieces....maybe a coaching role aswell in some capacity0 -
He's essenrially a St Johnstone type player. I have no ambition to see us turn into St Johnstone, that'd send even more punters away.

We're needing a convincing win and a decent performance to get over the gloom the past few days. It's disappointing to likely be out of the league cup at this stage so early but the league is our main priority and always will be.
Next Saturday can either be a good or bad thing coming up against a rival club who have also struggled in the league cup. Hopefully a few additions in between now and next Saturday to kick us on this season.
Think this could be yordi's day or maybe skelly if given a chance0 -

Our season ticket sales, IMO, are embarrassing. I can acknowledge our support has been decimated by years in the doldrums but we seem to be dropping year on year which I don't understand. I know people have gripes with various factors but the product we are getting now is the best it's been since the Bonnetti years (exception of the Deefiant season where the standard was poorer but the club had a real passion and fire about it)
Unfortunately we are on course to make more money than ever off of them. Make of that what you will.

Yeah, Hemmings was on trial after we were promoted in 2013 and he'd just been released from Ibrox after being on loan at Cowden, played (at least) for us in a friendly at Livi. Didn't stand out and went to Cowden again permanently then scored against us in the LC for Cowden just after that.
We'd already signed Baird by that point, I think if anything the 3rd striker was Mukendi (FFS).

Well remember hemmings first 8 games he was pants , it was only after he got a couple of goals that he got his confidence and sharpness in front of goal

You don't need a 25 goal a season striker to stay in this league. Most teams in this league don't have this bar the top three. Obviously it helped us last season stay in the league but the year before we never had one and we finished higher. Not all doom and gloom yet.
Hopefully Loy gets back to the form he showed at the start of last season where he was keeping Hemmings out of the team at one point.
I wouldn't mind a doolan like player not bad all round will chip in with a couple of goals
