All part of the new SFA set-up with the academies. We kind of arsed up our initial application for progressive status (which is the second tier) so are on probation so need to employ three more people to get the issue sorted in the summer. McPake takes one of the roles we're needing and we're the only top flight team without that position filled.
I think the actual job responsibilities mean that he'll officially be in charge of the progression of players aged between 16-20. In practice, he'll coach the 20s and help out further down the age groups.

Liam Lindsay was younger, better and in most people's team of the year last season and in the summer he netted Partick Thistle £350k
how on earth is Jack Hendry worth 4-5 times what Lindsay was? You bring up Boyata, but he had played in the premier league, eredivise and had been called up for the Belgium national team before his move to us.
We have no need to sell, we have the player if they want him meet our price it’s as simple as that, we could have put a stupid value on any of our players if you want him, have him but you’ll bloody well pay for it1 -

The lack of transfer activity at Dens is depressing.
I like the fact mr McCann keeps cards close to his chest , lets the speculation run wild and you get to see which reporter is “in the know “ and who is getting a wage by saying the same stuff every season also lets you see who’s actually doing their jobs instead of linking us to stupid bloody names for the sake of it1 -
Linked to left-back Nathan Ralph of Woking Town along with Hearts and some other football league sides. Contract expires in the summer so it looks like one for next season as I imagine Jon and Holt will be well away by then.

He’s as slow as a week in the jail. Would we drop Kamara for him? No. Would we drop O’Hara for him, possibly but we’d lose the goal threat. We could drop Gowser but a midfield of Kamara, Low, O’Hara and Deacon would be absolutely pissed on.
Even though that is the case Low is an engine in itself runs and even though I wouldn’t put him in the first 11 our bench is weak so anyone that can come on and not make the team on the field worse0 -

Before we go splashing the cash or tinkering with what recently got changed from a defender can we not try Henvey out , I mean if we are risking putting someone else up front why not an actual striker even if it’s only few games here and there to bleed him in slowly
