  1. Scott Bain, Kevin Holt, Jon Aurtenexte, Julen Extabeguren, Kosta Gadzhalov, Nicky Low, Mark O'Hara, Jesse Curran are all out of contract in the coming weeks. Other than O'Hara, I don't think there'd be an ounce of disappointment if we lost all of them. I'd like Holt to stay but we need a better LB.

Holt is a yes for me, low aswell as he was derrys poty so he must have had a run of games the red of them meh

  2. If he is going to leave Hamilton then would imagine he will be looking to improve himself. Moving to a team at the same level does not come under that

I’m probably biased but I don’t think Hamilton and Dundee are the same level i.e. stadium, crowd, budget, our expectations and Hamilton expectations are also different
  3. With regard to next season; do we think we'll see some 'well ken't faces' or some relative unknowns that McCann will pluck from obscurity?

I think we could do with some creativity from the middle of the park, could do worse than take Templeton from accies as they descend the league structure.

That is aside from the obvious inadequacies we have throughout the squad - mainly fullback and strikers IMHO.

I imagine it’ll be a bit of both, but if he is going for someone I’d prefer he use them instead of that bloody GK cause f*ck knows what that was all about possibly our most pointless signing this season

With regards to well Kent I’d probably give Tom Taiwo a couple bounce games might not be a starter but also wouldn’t look bad on the bench
  4. Scrap having a manager. Duffy as defensive coach, McCann working with the midfield and Jocky working with the strikers.

Bizarrely, thinking about it, Duffy's Dundee teams were always free flowing whilst Jocky's were stuffy and hard to break down!

Speroni is third choice with Palace now so I'd say he can work with the keepers - but just stick him in goal.

    We'll win the league lads.

Not a bad idea actually [emoji848]

  5. It is funny. Moussa is not the worlds best, but clearly he's not Scottish football's worst striker either.

Indeed on Saturday he was penalised for fouling only a couple of times, and he wasn't offside. Clearly he's getting there!

He has been so frustrating: some good touches and link up play; yet profligate in front of goal; deadly from the penalty spot; yet daft enough to pass back from the half way line to lose a goal. I like his endeavour, but I'd rather have a Pirie, a Coyne or a Hemmings in the number 9 shirt.

    Time to come good Sofian.

Don’t doubt he could be a good player for us just needs someone to help him up the top, that can run off him he’s always going to get the header just needs a partner to chase them
  6. Moussa has now scored more league goals in as many, or less games, than - Lee Erwin, Stevie May, Stevie MacLean, Connor Sammon, Kris Doolan and Ryan Bowman - all of whom at some point this season I've seen people, on here or other forums, mention as better options than "The Huddie".
Is this, coupled with this his link up and hold up play, now the time to cut him a little bit of slack?

    This is actually quite funny
  7. All part of the new SFA set-up with the academies. We kind of arsed up our initial application for progressive status (which is the second tier) so are on probation so need to employ three more people to get the issue sorted in the summer. McPake takes one of the roles we're needing and we're the only top flight team without that position filled.
I think the actual job responsibilities mean that he'll officially be in charge of the progression of players aged between 16-20. In practice, he'll coach the 20s and help out further down the age groups.

Isn’t that exactly what we have jimmy Boyle for??
