  1. Does your pitch normally fair well in the rain? Any chance of it being called off?
  2. Airdrieonians 1-0 Peterhead Clyde 2-4 Partick Thistle Cove Rangers 2-1 East Fife Forfar 0-0 Dumbarton Montrose 1-1 Falkirk
  3. I would say about 6-8 weeks for a full recovery. Could probably take part in light training 4 weeks after the surgery.
  4. I was impressed with you guys today myself. I knew it was never going to be easy with the signings you’ve made, so I’m delighted with the win and it’s given me hope for the season ahead. You have a better team than most of league 1, and would probably finish in the (promotion) playoffs in league 1. Good luck for the season ahead!
  5. Very true!! The only stats that matter will be his stats for the mighty Diamonds. If he actually signs that is!
  6. Cheers! He looked like he gave us a bit of presence and aggression upfront anyways. A sort of Jim Lister type of striker.
  7. Absolutely. I remember we played a pre season against Stirling Albion 2 years ago, and Joao Victoria kept falling over the ball and looked like he never played football in his life. Then a month later, he had one of the best individual performances from an Airdrie player I’ve seen in a long time when he tore Raith Rovers apart in that 3-4 game. Also, Ayr United lost 2-0 at home to Stirling Albion on Saturday in a pre season friendly. Doesn’t mean Ayr are f***ed for the season ahead. But saying that, you’d forget that we WON last night with all the premature panic.
  8. We’re extremely lucky to have a player like him. So it’s important that we give the boy a chance.
  9. We need to remember that this is only the SECOND game of pre season. In a normal season, we wouldn’t even get to see such early bounce games like such. Thomas Robert is only 20 years old and just moved to a brand new country so he’s still settling in. We will probably start to see the best of him in the next few weeks, when the competitive games start.
  10. Hopefully Thomas Robert hobbling off was just a precaution and no injury.
  11. I’m sure we beat them in 2010. Maybe 1-0? Scott McLaughlin scoring rings a bell.
  12. Who knows, that striker having a breakthrough season might be a certain Mr Ally Roy. New season, new start!
  13. Stirling maybe offered him the same as us, or even slightly lower. But part time. Which would obviously work out as a better income ontop of his ‘normal’ job.
  14. Don’t think it’s been mentioned this week on here. So I will do the honours. Striker from West Ham is coming up
  15. Here’s a picture of the person that made those odds.
  16. I noticed this with Airdrie’s Joma 3rd kit last season. Our home and away were sound though.
