What will Edinburgh city do in way of spectator area for games that would draw over 500? Seems like there is no standing areas around the pitch aside from the seated area

Can’t believe my wee girl is now 2 and a half, next month she has her very first dance show. Can’t believe she’s gone from a wee baby in my arms, to kicking a ball better than me and skinning me, and doing her first ever dance show. One proud as hell father here.

I’ve been thinking about this, and part of me thinks what’s the big deal, but also part of me thinks it shows a lack of respect to the club he is currently representing. Yes his contract is with Falkirk, but right now he is playing for us. I would expect a player to have a level of discipline for a match like this and if he chose to wear his tracksuit for Falkirk that’s fine, but if that’s the decision he’s made then absolutely, he should not be allowed in the home dressing room.

Cheers for the advice lads looking forward to a big away day. I take it most pubs are welcoming to away support etc? I know in league 1/2 it’s usually no bother at all

If any of you have any tips it would be ideal, I’m coming up for our Scottish cup tie against yourselves. Where is it best to park near the ground? Or is it easier to park further away and get a bus to pittodrie? I’ll be staying at my mates out in Alford, would that in turn just be easier getting a bus in from there? Buzzing for the match, going for the occasion, but fear we will get routed haha

Exeter’s new rugby ground has a similar vibe to Murrayfield with the way the rest of the ground is larger than the main stand, then dips down to meet it

I just saw that Colin McCabe has been playing for bohemians in the league of Ireland premier, also not surprised to see them sitting second bottom, a player who struggled with us last season. While granted we weren’t at our best, he had a fair few shockers. Don’t think he is league of Ireland premier level, as he sure as hell wasnt Scottish league 1 level.

What sort of crowds are you lads pulling in at home these day? I imagine there must be a dip due to less away fans but have the home numbers remained consistent?

The difference between cookie and the generic mouthing off was cookie was making it very publicly known the was doing it. Like when he got booked eventually. You could tell what he was doing from the opposite side of the pitch. When you make your dissent that blatant you leave the ref with no choice. But every time I’ve seen him he’s been the same. He needs to get a grip of himself and realise it’s not about him, it’s about the team. And he cannot leave the team out to dry because of his own selfish actions.

Gonna be really unpopular for saying this. But cookie needs to sort his attitude out ASAP. Lucky to have stayed on the park on Saturday and not getting a second caution, too much unneeded challenges, that kick out that he didn’t get cautioned for was idiotic, his caution for mouthing off was petulant. He carried on and I don’t know how he stayed on. Remember when EK beat us in EK and he got a second yellow for frustration and a challenge he didn’t need to make. If we’re going to make a serious push for promotion, we cannot carry players with bad attitudes that are liable to get sent off. If he buckles down and stick in, great. If not and he’s going to carry on that way he can GTF. I mean we won and he walked off the park with his face torn and tripping.

Is that not because falkirk council wouldn't grant planning permission for houses due to the way he conducted his business. I hope shire go back to a firs park but not under his ownership as the man can not be trusted. Any word from the board if they are considering it an option?

Heads up for anyone buying the new top, I fired it in for a 30 degree wash yesterday after the Hamilton game and the R's have already started to lift.

See paddy power has us as 7/2 favourites for the league, not convinced we will win it but, hopeful we can hit top 4 if this new squad gels together. Not sure how well the squad rotation of the betfred cup stands us for the start of the new season. Reason would have dictated to play full strength and give it a good go. A cup run is a cup run. And a good cup run before kicking off the league would have been an ideal start.
