Exact opposite, high % of top flight clubs have told the league they want to start on the 10th with no showers, changing facilities or fans.
    Bonkers

I'm not sure how you know that as the survey isn't complete yet and the IMG haven't seen the results yet.

Sorry should have said managers, but  sure you already know that.

There is an easier solution, the clubs instead of bleating for money from the sfa should tell the WOSL that without showers, changing facilities and fans getting into games they are not going to play.

If any club starts the season without fans then fans should just stay away whenever they are allowed to attend. It's obvious they don't need them. Personally couldn't give a toss what managers wish , the survival of the club is all that matters.

Wonder how many of these managers actually consulted with their clubs??

The main issue will be players who are on pro contracts as if they are training and playing then legally they need to be paid at least the NLW/NMW for the hours they are "working". You cant just say to these boys aye we will give you £20 per week now without changing their contracts to amatuer status

    Couple of points.

Contracts dont kick in til real football starts, so anything agreed between club and players meantime is exactly that, an Agreement.

Never seen a contract yet that mentions hourly rate, not even sure if minimum wage applies either.

Do some folk actually think clubs should start paying players straight away with no gate money, keep doing so for an indefinite period then just fold when nothing left.

How many Glasgow Life Facilities are even opening up this weekend for games to be played? I know that doesn't effect the semi pros as such with them having their own private facilities but where are they going to train when the dark nights come in?

There's talk on twitter many of these facilities arent even planning to open.

Petetshill for one I would imagine will be struggling to train or play home games.

I'm sure a few Ayrshire teams will be affected by Greenwood being still closed

  6. Wonder how teams are getting round the training facilities headache?

Shared council Astros are still closed, private sites like Benburb and Renfrew fully booked.

Training at you own park will soon become impossible without lights.

Some " out the box "thinking required.

I'm all for middle ground and some compromises but when you start talking about paperless teamlines and cashless payments the baw is burst.

The teams already have to submit their team lines to the sfa electronically so why is this crazy?

I believe it was mentioned last night with regards to the refs receiving paper teams lines and cash payments.

Any feedback from last night’s zoom meeting?

There is a real possibility that some clubs won't make the strict protocol on facilities.

This could lead to them having to ground share with ones who do.

Could see a scenario where it may be better for a club  to take a season out rather than ruin themselves trying to play under theses conditions.

In my humble opinion has to be  "all or nothing"

hear there are a good number of clubs have not completed the survey that had an end of July deadline.
There are some thoughts that this could delay the restart.

Some clubs have been unable to return the survey as they play at council-owned facilities which are currently still closed.

    Limp excuse.
