  1. Absolutely criminal. We had a similar free kick in second half and Dumbarton brought a guy back to cover the edge of the box, such simple stuff really.
  2. Does not cover himself in glory with both first and third goals, how he is starting ahead of Whatley I have no idea.
  3. Not how I saw it, definitely shoved as he’s about to shoot.
  4. As guff as we were Seb Ross’s goal was a cracker too.
  5. Have missed 5 home games in the last 36 years and honestly this is closest I have come to not going. Know a few regulars that are not going at the moment too.
  6. Cannot see it. Haven’t had the Board statement of support yet.
  7. We were utter trash but that was a clear penalty and red card when Skelly was in on goal and was shoved over. That said several Forfar players have chucked it and need bombed out, no idea how McKinnon can continue, no home wins by Christmas cannot be supported.
  8. As clear a penalty and red card as I have ever seen .
  9. Just the six defenders for us today. More negatively incoming.
  10. Yeah , this is on the Board , anyone expecting McKinnon to resign is in cloud cuckoo land. And the Board do not want to sack the man.
  11. Yep, gotta love ‘ambitious’ clubs that throw money around like confetti then cry a few season later when the bubble bursts.
  12. I would say not, and very little similarity between the fouls one leaves a leg hanging out while the other dives in from behind at speed , similarly with the challenge from the No. 3 on Seb Ross as while deliberate didn't think there was an intent to injure just to foul that I did think was there with that challenge , which I viewed as quite deliberately violent. Referee saw it differently and given the nature of Forfar's finishing I doubt it would have affected the result at all.
  13. Agree. He had no chance of reaching the ball was only going to connect with Nditi. Should have been a red.
  14. Our attacking options are desperate, have to be bolstered on January as defence cannot keep doing it.
  15. Absolutely, the extra money from progression to this round, bit of a bigger crowd and extra hospitality should be a nice bonus for the club. Hopefully league position will be less tenuous by the time the cup game comes around.
  16. There were also a boatload of potentially worse draws for us, any L1 or Championship team home or away for example.
  17. I think am right in saying that Whyte, Munro, Brindley and Nditi were already signed on two year contracts hence why they are still here?
  18. Agree that our goalkeeper and defence are fine for this level , the problem is lack of chances created and taken. Cannot believe we have not tried McLeod right through the middle as yet, either let him play off Skelly or have Patterson in behind him, cannot be any less effective than what we have done so far. The heart of the problem is the move to ‘local’ players, it has deliberately hamstrung our squad . Fair enough it may be a money based move but that wasn’t how it was sold in the Summer, local players would gel better and be better able to attend training was the line. Hasn’t fucking worked. Would be better with some players on more expenses that knew where the goals are.
