  1. Peter Watson also staying at Annan. Defence looks strong again so far at Galabank for this year.
  2. Steven Swinglehurst signs a new deal to stay at Annan.
  3. The following players are confirmed as leaving Annan Scott Hooper (Peterhead) Tony Wallace (Clyde) Jack Brannan (Released) Ayrton Sonker and Owen Moxon have signed new deals to remain at Galabank.
  4. Ayrton Sonkur and Owen Moxon have signed new deals. I'd hope a few more are confirmed before the end of the week.
  5. If it was the end of June then perhaps I'd be panicking but from what I can gather the manager is about to sign up several of last years players and has been negotiating with new ones too. We'll see how it works out.
  6. He's definitely left Annan so it wouldn't surprise me.
  7. Creaney has his share of dodgy moments but Wilson is good at this level.
  8. Fish on! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Honestly you lot take yourselves far too seriously. It's funny as hell.
  9. You've put far too much effort into that post by the way. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  10. Won't be the last time Philosopher. I'd imagine they'll be raiding us again next summer when they come right back down to the league 2 doldrums.
  11. His fitness might be the only issue as he does pick up a few knocks especially stepping up a division but a good wee player overall.
  12. Sad to see the lad leave but it was inevitable after the season he's had. The destination also seemed inevitable.
  13. I'm not on the habit of setting fire to pounds of the realm.
  14. Obviously disappointed with yesterdays result but fair play to Clyde. Enjoy League 1 and the many disputes you'll no doubt have with opposing supporters. As for Annan I'm confident we'll improve at Galabank next season. Murphy has done an excellent job over the last two years and the setup at the club in general is looking better than it has in years. I think we'll be seeing you Clyde lot sooner rather than later.
  15. Deserved win for Annan tonight. Unlucky not to make it 2 at the end. We'll find it tough on Saturday if we sit back and allow Clyde to come at us like we did most of the second half but we defended well and I'm confident we can see it through.
  16. At the away end of the ground you can park just the other side of the 7 a side pitch. Space is limited there though.
  17. I'm pretty confident that if we can get a result at Galabank tomorrow night then we'll be able to hold Clyde on Saturday. Murphy has us playing and especially defending well. It'll be a tough ask against a good Clyde side but I absolutely think we can do it. Tuesday - Annan 2-1 Clyde Saturday- Annan 1-1 Clyde
  18. To be honest he never got much game time when he come to Annan. At the time our Strikers Blair Henderson and Aidan Smith had started to perform well plus we had Ross Fergusson on loan from Queens so his opportunities were limited.
  19. Shareholder Update The club would like to thank everyone who has already voted in our upcoming board election and that have had their say in 'Your Club. Every shareholder that hasn't already voted will be getting sent postal details of the ballot this week and there will details posted in the Annandale Observer on Friday. A ballot box will be available in the social club from Fri 23rd Nov until Thur 29th where those who don't have access can then vote. If you would like to vote online but haven't received the details then could shareholders please message the page with your email address. We'll update our database to include an email and also send out the online vote.
  20. I think I'd like to see Ross Fergusson and Aidan Smith start a run of games together upfront. Tommy Muir is decent back up but I think Smith and Fergusson would prove to be our top pairing given the chance. I'd also prefer to see big Peter Watson back at the heart of the defence. We've missed him and the injured Swinglehurst.
  21. ***ANNAN ATHLETIC SHAREHOLDER NOTICE*** The first Shareholders meeting has been confirmed. It will be held up at the Football club on Friday 5th of October at 7.30pm.
