  1. 10 signed up (6 from last season 4 new) and a few lads on trial set to feature against Stranraer in Thursdays friendly. Another couple of good additions should see us in the play off mix again. We Might've lost a couple but I think our business in so far has been quality.
  2. Heard that rumour earlier this month but nothing else. Would love to see Carmichael at Annan. Brings a good level of experience to a young side!
  3. Aye I'm sure he got two. One might've been a penalty.
  4. He's a grafter, he'll be running for 90 minutes every match. Weighed in with some important goals too. Can be frustrating at times though. Some of our supporters think he lacks end product on a consistent basis which is fair criticism and it'll be interesting to see how he manages up at level. Both he and Hooper though should do well for you this season.
  5. Murphy agreeing to stay for another 2 years was our best signing this summer. The players we've brought in so far are encouraging too. Another 3 or 4 decent additions and probably a loan or two and I think we'll be in that playoff mix again.
  6. Last I heard they were negotiating the development fee so if it's agreed it'll only be a matter of time. I think our signings so far have been good. Looking forward to seeing the new lads on action.
  7. Would've taken the lad back at Annan. Looked decent on loan a couple of seasons ago.
  8. I think I remember this lad at Galabank last season and at one of the Hampden games. Looked like a good player. What do you lads think?
  9. Scott McLean has signed today from Queens Park.
  10. He's had one or two. Cammy Salkeld that's just signed for Morton(I think) was here on loan from Carlisle a while back and he brought in Jonny Jamieson last year. Murphy is careful about who he brings in to be honest. Doesn't really sign a player in just for the sake of it.
  11. The website is reporting that a change in his personal commitments as the reason.
  12. Goalkeeper Aaran Taylor also signs for Annan from Workington. Last seasons goalkeeper Alex Mitchell hasn't been offered a new contract so will be leaving.
  13. Matty Douglas leaves Workington to sign for Annan.
  14. Christian Nade also signs on for another year at Annan!
  15. That was the rumour going around but neither club have offered any confirmation yet.
  16. Honestly I'm really disappointed to lose Scott Hooper. He was my choice for player of the year. Very consistent and reliable. Wallace too only a little less consistent. No doubt Johnston and Wilson will be missed but my in my opinion each would frequently go missing in games. Especially when we were under pressure. Both could also produce moments of quality so time will tell with them. Creaney....[emoji23][emoji23] Our confirmed signings so far Watson, Swinglehurst, Sonkur and Moxon are good solid players. I also hear we have several other to be announced this week so I'm not terribly worried yet.
  17. Looks like we've retained an excellent backbone to the squad from last year with the ones announced and the lads expected to sign in the coming weeks. Peter Murphy is good at keeping things under wraps until its time to announce so I'd hope for another competitive squad this year. How will we do??? Wouldn't mind another run at the playoffs. I suppose it'll depend on who we bring in.
  18. Raring to go for the new season. Peter Murphy has been busy securing signatures from last years play off squad and with 4 confirmed we look likely to announce a few more in the coming week. It'll be interesting to see who the gaffer brings in to replace the lads who have moved on.
  19. We should have a few more announced this week hopefully pal.
