The midweek of 3rd April has no Champions League fixtures for a TV clash, and is over two weeks from now, so plenty time to organise things. Shouldn't be any kind of issue with that date.

Not that we will be appearing in this thread any longer (!), but why are we the only team with "FC" after their name in the fixtures and tables?

The only real question is whether we will be given the opportunity to lube up or not before we get a right pumping. Would love to think that this will be our one decent performance of the season against one of the Bigot Brothers, but just can't see it happening...

The Green Bigots have been well below par for the last month or so. I can confidently predict that this will be the game where their mojo returns, and we get another 3 or 4 goal doing...

Coyne & Wright is the correct answer. I remember when I was at school the Tully seemed to have an almost daily update on how Coyne was doing in the race for the Golden Boot. I think there was someone in the Greek or Turkish league that eventually won, but it was absolutely mental to think that someone playing for Dundee could even be in the conversation (I think he ended up 3rd overall). After that, if it hadn't been for that DAB animal, Sara & Caballero would have been the partnership everyone would have been talking about. Those first 5 or 6 games of that season before the derby were an absolute dream.

Har-Dees would be the best, but doesn't have the same feel. As for the actual game - Hibs appear to be on a dismal run, but we will help them out with a 1-0 loss thanks to a defensive mix-up...

I was always more cautious than most when pundits etc were saying we were safe after the first round of matches or so, as I believed that we would inevitably hit a patch where we lost 5 or 6 in a row, or went 10 or more games without a win. However, I think it's fair to say that a win on Saturday will pretty much see us safe in terms of the playoffs or relegation, as we would be 13 points ahead of second bottom, with 13 games left to play. I presume that, this being Dundee, we will lose in spectacular fashion on Saturday? It is the way we like to do things, after all...

Don't know if this has been covered in the "Terrible Journalism" thread or not, but the BBC website has a preview page for upcoming fixtures in the Premiership. Now, there will only ever be, by definition, a maximum of 6 games to cover. However, there never seems to be coverage of more than two or three. (As to which clubs' games are always covered, I'll leave you to try and figure out that perplexing conundrum...) Surely it can't be outwith the BBC's budget to do at least a paragraph on each match? Just another example of the atrocious coverage that it appears the media thinks that we should be grateful to get, I presume. Just one more of those little frustrating things that annoy me way more than it should.

Game vs Blue Bigots moved to 12 noon on 17th March. That's St Patrick's Day, so no idea what effect that will have on their Irish, but not Irish support...
