    As I said above it really shouldn’t be. But they’ve set a precedent for giving those decisions this season. I think if folk took the anti-OF goggles off for a minute they’d concede that they don’t actually think something like that should be a handball.

    This reminds me. Rangers often release statements ahead of European games begging their fans not to be disgusting bigots, because the club might get punished. And there’s lots of back patting on social media because of it. Do they pass any comment when it happens every week domestically? Do they f**k. Because they don’t give a f**k about the singing, only the possibility that there might be repercussions from it.

    Apparently it’s always been the case that penalty kicks aren’t classed as part of the match. The wording just changed a bit.

    He could have struck it much better, I’m not saying it was good, but it still wouldn’t have made any difference to the outcome. There were 1 or 2 other limp penalties that the commentators were salivating over purely because the keeper dived the wrong way.
