Jumped on and played half a game in career mode before getting fed up of the white box jumping around the screen. Very glad they’ve sorted out the multiple flaws in that mode though by adding the option to give my little pro some tattoos and a Zorro style mask.
  2. Well that’s obvious, but when you combine @RandomGuy. chart with the fact that a large majority of people who have actually watched Harry Milne class him as the best full back at whatever level he’s been at, there’s probably something in it.
  3. Obviously the smallest of sample sizes but I watched Dundee B vs Buckie last week and Ewan Murray was one of few players that stood out a bit. Purely based on that, should be a good signing for you.
  4. He was decent enough at Montrose but apparently not so much at Falkirk. I would imagine that Elgin is a matter of convenience though, I could be wrong but the only teams in League 1 I can see having any real need for him are Edinburgh City and Annan possibly which is a fair old trek for training twice a week, granted coming to Dundee to train with us wouldn’t have been much better.
  5. Max Meyer is one of my favourite players on Football Manager ever however Martin Boyle is one of my favourite football players ever, split loyalties for me so I’ll take a draw.
  6. Big interest in this one. I know very little about Annan having not played them for a number of years now but there’s a few familiar names in their squad and I know that the lad Goss scored loads for them last season. As for Montrose, we need to massively improve from our performance against Kelty. Disappointing that we still haven’t brought anyone else in, especially in the middle of the park as the pairing of Paul Watson and Terry Masson is about 3 years past it’s sell by date and we don’t really have the option to change it at the moment. I would imagine that we’ll go with the exact same starting line up as we did against Kelty but hopefully we decide to not just launch balls over the top for Kane to chase or it’ll be a long day.
  7. Much politer than I was about to put it. To describe that performance today as pish would be generous. We need at least another 2 midfielders in at the very least.
  8. I’ve stuck a tenner on Kane and CJ to both score so we can safely say now that neither of them will.
  9. Sharp played pretty well for the most part, can remember one cross which he completely flapped at that somehow Buckie didn’t end up scoring and another occasion where either he completely fell asleep or there was a miscommunication with his defender but he really should have came out to collect an easy ball that was rolling in to the box and better opposition would have punished him. Made a number of good saves though and distribution was fairly decent. Max Anderson was one that stood out for me, his footballing intelligence was just miles ahead of anyone else on the park.
  10. Hoff trainers are about the only positive thing I’ve ever gained from this site, believe it was @tree house tam posting a pair that piqued my interest. Personally found the sizing to be bang on as were both the quality and comfort.
  11. That looks like the outcome of a kebab on the way home from an evening on the Guinness, however I would 100% scran it and enjoy it.
  12. Decent performance from your young lads tonight, thought Rayan Mohamed, Jack Wilkie, Max Anderson and Euan Murray all looked like good players. Thought Lewis Lorimer had a bit about him as well but will be absolutely nowhere near your first team. Buckie manager was good entertainment and the referee was quite clearly enjoying the sound of his whistle.
  13. I reckon I’m in about as good a physical condition as some of these Buckie lads
  14. Good start for your B team, the boy Mohamed scored already.
  15. Craig Johnston and Tiwi Daramola vs Aidan Quinn and Sean Dillon is giving me the fear. Hopefully our front 2 click and we can score a couple because I have absolutely no faith in us keeping a clean sheet.
  16. Do you head along to the u20s games? Think I’m gonna head through tonight as none of the Midlands League games are appealing to me, just wondering if they bother putting pies or anything on at Station Park? I know they did when the games were at Links Park.
  17. Thought the name seemed familiar, he’s interviewed on a podcast that I subscribe to.
  18. Based on what I’ve seen, that would be very concerning. We need another option in at centre back, letting Matty Allan go is starting to look like a bit of a mistake although I appreciate hindsight is a wonderful thing. We also have a number of wide players who we seem desperate to use as the solution to the lack of creativity in the centre of the park but that just is not going to work. If we’re only looking for a defensive midfield player, either we’re continuing to play someone out of position in the middle of the park as a 3 or we have to abandon the front 2 to get the best out of the players that we do have.
  19. Phoned today, spoke to someone called Graham who said he’d ring me back today and let me know what’s happening, heard nothing.
  20. @citydiehard hope you enjoyed the game tonight bud
  21. Any club that’s entitled to a portion of the solidarity payments will get money every time he moves for a fee, there’s no time limit on that from what I gather. The only thing I could see being an issue was the short length of time he was with you but I suspect it’s likely that Transfermarkt is wrong.
  22. I don’t mean to alarm you but transfermarkt has a solidarity fee calculator and it seems to suggest that if Jack Hendry were to leave today for £1m you’d get nothing, not entirely sure that’s accurate though which is why I found myself sitting on the bog reading up on FIFA transfer rules at the back of 4 this morning, what a life.
