  1. That description absolutely stinks of Ian Cathro
  2. How does your pitch tend to hold up with cold weather? Do you have any sort of undersoil heating/pitch covers etc or is there a good chance this is called off tomorrow?
  3. I think I’ve lost a few brain cells reading this thread. Hope the SFA have read this and we’re going to be calling up Brandon Thomas-Asante for the Euros
  4. Gavin Price seems like an annoyingly competent appointment for you lot. Apparently very well liked by the players at Elgin and as mentioned above, he’ll have a good knowledge of players in the areas that you’re looking to recruit from.
  5. I’m not sure if you lot use your own club appointed stewards as well but the only game I’ve watched at Station Park recently was Dundee B vs Buckie and it was Safe Tay who were providing the stewards/security that day which makes the above section of your post unsurprising. Unfortunately they same to be the only company in the area that can reliably provide the numbers that clubs in the area need on match days. They’re also relatively inexpensive so clubs will continue to use them.
  6. Bought a 6 pack of Discos from the shop earlier, there was 7 packs inside, an extra prawn cocktail
  7. Just a black screen and the little loading bar sticks at half way. Just to confuse matters even more, if I close the tab then try and access it again it works however I shut Safari altogether and then open it again, it doesn’t. Likely an issue at my end somewhere and nothing more than a mild inconvenience really but thought it was worth flagging incase there was some gremlin lurking in the background.
  8. The site doesn’t load for me at all when using Wi-Fi on Safari. Tried it at home and elsewhere and it makes 0 difference. It works fine on Edge and works fine on 4g so it seems to be a very specific issue.
  9. Booked 5 nights in Bonn for now, may change or extend that when the fixtures come out. Seems to be plenty of options for travel but as it stands I’m looking at flying Aberdeen-Amsterdam, possibly a night there then take the train.
  10. Kevin Thomson definitely has France on his accumulator
  11. I think letting Rory go has been the best bit of business we’ve done for a while. I said at the time that I wasn’t really that bothered about him leaving as it would allow us to play a system much more suited to the squad we have and it’s so far looking to be the case. I’ve never been a fan of Gardyne really, thought Aidan Quinn looked like an absolute waste of a jersey and thought the signing of Miller Thomson was daft, I think I’m just about ready to admit that I’ve been wrong on all 3 of them.
  12. Think there’s a lot of bias on both sides here. Both teams wasted time when it suited, both teams could have argued that they would be disappointed to lose the game and for the most part I thought the ref was okay although I would be willing to reconsider that if I watch the foul for our penalty back and it was outside the box, it was certainly close from what I seen. Overall, a good game of football, a good day out and a performance against a very good Falkirk team for the level that we can take positives from.
  13. Can’t believe my hard work went unnoticed
  14. Looking forward to this one, as much for the day out as the game itself. Heading down on the train from Montrose at 10.21, lunch and an undetermined number of pints before what will hopefully be a good game. My early season doom and gloom has been lifted over the last couple of games, hopefully we can click on Saturday and come away with something.
  15. This is punishment for whoever is responsible for continuously not spelling Kyle Gourlay correctly on your social media
  16. Today is exactly the type of game I didn’t think we would be winning this season, clearly I was wrong. Wasn’t a great performance at all but plenty of effort and we got the goal, could have had another couple too. Miller Thomson looks excellent and Kane put in a brilliant shift again.
  17. Given, Cole, Sinclair and Delph at Villa Richardson, Schwarzer and Gudjohnsen at Fulham Saha and Duffy at Everton Bentley at Arsenal Hill at Rangers Beckham at Milan
  18. Phillipe Senderos ticks off a number of them
  19. Segregation for this some seems a bit odd, are Stirling expected to take a large travelling support? Anyway, Saturday past was the first match I’d made since opening day. Given that I am quite obviously a lucky charm and attending again on Saturday, I’m backing us to win 6-3 with a consolation hat trick from Lewis Milne.
  20. Wonder if the Edinburgh defence will turn up for the second half?
  21. Taking a train down on the 30th and making a day of it, where is the best bet for something to eat and to watch whatever the early kick off? Behind The Wall seems like an obvious choice although any time I was ever in there, was usually at night when I was pished so I can’t remember what the set up was like for watching sport. Any other recommendations?
  22. Cheers, £50 if it’s a few pints and a scran on top of the match ticket etc seems like a probable no brainer but I’ll have a look leading up to the next home game.
