  1. Happy with the win, been a long time since I’ve seen us win at there.

Josh Mullin could have been bagging a hatrick last night, hit the bar, delayed a shot from Vaughan cut back, and then ruining a breakaway by running off side.

lots of praise for Vaughan’s running and effort, but a fair few times his choice of option was poor, could have been fatigue, but if you’re taking the ball into the corner you have to get something out of it.

    Shaun Byrne btw, different level

Just received the below email from the club about Club 1883 (surprised its not on twitter/website yet). I was one who cancelled the Supporters Fund in protest in January 2022.  I said I would re-join if new leadership came in and am delighted they are relaunching a similar scheme so I can do so. Good to see that the money is ringfenced again, too. Also I know its not the be all and end all but its a much better name! Another good move by the new leadership and hopefully another extra boost to get the club moving in the right direction👏

We are proud to launch Club 1883, a subscription-based supporters' fund that not only provides you with a comprehensive range of benefits but also plays a crucial role in supporting our strategy for the growth of the Football Club.

You will also receive regular updates from the Board of Directors detailing how your contribution has been spent.

We are initially offering this membership to our Supporters' Fund contributors, giving you the opportunity to choose whether to transition to Club 1883 or continue your involvement with the Supporters' Fund.

The singing section is undoubtedly a good idea but having it at the opposite end of the stadium from the rest of the home fans was always going to be an issue.

It's a tired argument at this stage? Two left footed people can't play at cb, whereas two right footed cbs isn't ever questioned... It's akin to saying people aren't good enough because they are too young, which is definitely not a side of the fence you're known for tx.

Euan Murray is actually as good with his right foot as he is with his left and has played in every position across a rovers defence. One thing I will say, and he admitted it himself when he signed, he does look like he's lost a yard of pace.

What is a yard of pace ?

over what time period is it measured ?

With you on 2 left footed Centre Half’s issue v 2 right footed Centre Half’s

We weren't unlucky, we gave away two soft goals thanks to repeat offenders and have clearly done nothing to try and fix that either through coaching or personnel changes.

We made positive changes at half time and on another day might have won the game. I have left games this season, the Partick and Falkirk games in particular thinking we need a full root and branch rebuild to save our season. Yesterday, Chalmers, Murphy, Reading, the two in midfield and Dowds all had a good game.

Interesting the perspectives on game, I thought the 1st was excellent play by Raith after a wee bit of keep ball.

The sight of us keeping the ball whilst Bullen stood there arms crossed shaking his head was glorious, a return to Hoof ball hot you back in the game

I said that at the time. Probably because the referee had no clue what he was doing.. I was surprised everyone stayed on during the handbags scuffle after McAllister got elbowed in the face as well.

There was no needle in the first half at all but he kept giving free kicks for nothing and ignoring blatant ones.It didn't affect the result at all but seemed to annoy absolutely everyone

Think we all agree the ref was pish

Have to agree with the Byrne comments, I thought he was a standout today.

I realise they’re bottom of the league etc but about 60 fans down from Inverness today. Always considered them a bigger club but seem to be on a pretty major slide.

Any fan that travels to any game is a hero - fan bashing is shite patter

    Well, thank goodness that’s over!

As for the performance, it wasn’t great, especially the first 45 minutes, but we were far better over the second period.

I was surprised we dropped Mullin for Vaughan in the wide right position, and I’m not sure it really worked, in fact, I really think it made us poorer.

Dabrowski had a very good first half, but I do think he makes comfortable saves look good and good saves look great, which in fairness, I’m fine with.

The fact we now have a substitutes bench that can come in and change the game is amazing, and that’s exactly what happened today.

Fair play too to the the woman who went sprinting as we scored the winner, fell arse over tit in front of me, and as I helped her up she said, “I’m really sorry, that’s my son”

I hope she’s okay, but god bless her son

    😂😂

    well done Mrs Gullan
