  1. Almost revenge enough for IM shitting the bed in the playoffs before buggering off with two of our best players… almost
  2. It all has a whiff of the you must have 10,000 seats from a number or years back that was rightly scrapped. If they can find away to protect themselves, they will.
  3. Just finished with our highlights and plenty passing football on display.
  4. How dare we adapt and change stuff after two league defeats on the bounce. How. Very. Dare. We.
  5. Uncharacteristic defensive clusterfucks. Presented three goals to Ayr with a bow on them and at the weekend messed about with the defence and it looked like no one knew what they were meant to be doing - by the time we did, too late and two down. We’re honking away from home, struggle to score, struggle when we go behind, so really expecting absolutely nothing from this. Apart from that - all good
  6. While we were languishing in league one, my ambition was just to be a competitive championship side again and stay there. Anything more is beyond my wildest dreams and unrealistic IMO.
  7. Looked like that to me at the time but wanted to wait and see it back before commenting as Morton fans were closer. It did seem an overreaction - accused of a deliberate elbow to a premeditated attempt to injure. Was waiting for him to be accused of snipering him from the top of the cowshed next…. On balance - looks like the three big calls, he got right. Can’t tell the offside so not gonna argue it. More concerned with our defending.
  8. We do also still have Watson. Yes a mistake against Ayr but that was also in an odd pairing with McCabe.
  9. That’s how I saw from my view across the park. Looked a bad 50/50 but accepted some fans were closer and wanted to see it back. Appreciate they may decide not to show it though, and glad your player recovered. Draw at the line at suggestion further up that it was premeditated. That’s just taking it too far.
  10. Unpopular opinion maybe but would cancelling Aiken’s loan due this injury and look to bring someone else in not be better now. Very little sign of him coming back. Not that we give much in the way of updates though.
  11. The balance isn’t right - so many midfielders (young and experienced) not contributing enough in the way of goals or even a goal threat - and we bring in even more. We needed strengthening up front and probably another centre half to help Dycey out/cover. No idea why we asked ATS to step in yesterday in a game like that after we’ve not seen him for months (?) - can’t remember last time he played.
  12. I don’t know why some Airdrie fans let him live rent free in their heads. Ignore him, move on. The judgement was enough for me. Every single claim thrown out.
  13. I usually stumble across it on the BBC match report under line-ups after a few days.
  14. I’d recommend just heading to the bar at the stadium. Away fans are welcome and there’s a little pool table to keep kids amused.
  15. Absolutely beyond me that we’ve set up a competition which could result in £50,000 prize money (and the rest from earlier rounds) being diverted away from the Scottish game. Need to bin this format.
  16. Don’t worry. We couldn’t hit the back of the net if we played you back to back for three days.
  17. Absolutely - it’s the points against the teams you’d likely expect to be in the bottom half that will decide staying in this league. As many at home as you can and would be happy with a point up at arbroath. Best to take it just one game at a time as it’s going to be an up down season ahead.
  18. I didn’t hear any of this where I was sitting. But seems a bit shite considering we were trying a new formation and giving a lot of players minutes. Didn’t quite play out like our games normally do but he was good against Dundee Utd once he settled into the match and I think that’s a better benchmark - and that’s with zero disrespect to Stirling Uni. I said to a few people beforehand that they would be no walkover and they weren’t. People maybe thought we’d steamroller them and took that out on certain players when it didn’t happen.
  19. There are times we absolutely overdo it, or do it at completely the wrong time. Should have just launched it back up. There was nothing to achieve by trying to pass it out at that time. Sometimes feels like we’re just running the clock down on ourselves. Similar to Ross County at 3-2 in extra time.
