The cynic in me thought Div 2 would be of poor quality but it looks like I may be wrong. The positive from the reorganisation is that the bottom teams from the two distinct areas now have an opportunity to progress as they are now competing with similar clubs. How have the attendances been at the matches?

Just read the statement. Running a club It’s a tougher job than most of us could imagine. The incumbent committee can be criticised for some decisions but not for their commitment to the club. They need help not continual criticism, I’ve visited Gasworks Park on numerous occasions and never seen a victory for the team I’ve supported but I’ve always enjoyed my visits. I hope they get through this malaise as 140 years of history can’t be lost.

It was a straight red and very little debate. The Neilson boys did a good job with scratching the boys eye and sly punches at every opportunity. The lad fell for it and retaliated and got caught.
