Sorry to see Andy Cameron leave his job A big character with a big heart who works his socks of for his team. A hard one to replace. I watched the Candy at Airdrie today and they have a lot to work to do. They looked aimless at times and were the architects of their own downfall Good luck to Andy.

Did Celtic break the rules today as far as substitutes are concerned ? i thought to get a 4th sub you had to make three in the 90 mins. Celtic only made two and then two more in ET. Can anybody confirm. Thanks

Thought that was a proper game of Junior football tonight. The park wasn’t great and Blantyre put in some shift, especially, when they went down to 10 men. Darvel were the better team and the better team usually win.

I’m sorry in this day and age you really shouldn’t be sharing DOBs on line. You may even be breaking the Data Protection Act.

The weather in Blantyre just now is pretty horrendous. It’s been raining solid for the last hour. Unfortunately, the Vics Park has very little cover for spectators so make sure you have your umbrellas etc in case it continues.

Good competitive game between two talented teams. One that’s been together for barely 6 weeks and the other a team that has played together for years. The few Talbot fans that I spoke too were impressed by Darvel and thought they gave a good account tonight. Talbot were the better team and thoroughly deserved their win. However, Darvel will learn from the game and in my opinion get better as the team settles. Once again a great occasion at Darvel,a big crowd and a lot to be happy about.

He was certainly a class act mast night.

I’m sure this has been covered before but why are Vale of Clyde in the same group as Vale of Leven, Clydebank and Yoker ?

Thought Darvel ground out a great result tonight. Glenafton were well on top in the first half and squandered at least three great chances. Second half was dominated by Darvel who in my opinion looked fitter than Glenafton. Wedneday will take care of itself. Talbot are a class act but if Darvel continue to improve they have a chance.
