  1. Aye, the scenes at FT at Inverness showed a real bond growing between the fans, players and manager (his interview especially)
  2. Would you go two up front with Murray and leave out a midfielder? They linked up well together when he came on v Forfar. I certainly wouldn't leave out any of Savoury, McPake or Thomas (who had his best game so far at Inverness) Exciting times though with so many different attacking options.
  3. Unfortunately the QPSA were let down by the bus company when it came to the size of the bus on Saturday. But hey, at least it had a toilet with an amazing view
  4. No, my understanding is we're running buses for everyone to every game going forward. Have you heard different?
  5. They're all just wanting a selfie with the QP fan who invaded the stage at the Woodzstock festival on the Black Isle last month. The Complete Stone Roses will never get over it.
  6. I'd be delighted this season to do it
  7. Yeah, I mean it was Quinno himself who was quoted in the papers saying he had left the club so why would he say that if it wasn't true? The club then rushed out the following statement in an effort to appease supporters who were a bit pissed off that a genuine club legend had left without a single word of tribute. https://queensparkfc.co.uk/tony-quinn/ Reading it again it looks like complete bullshit Of course there are probably good reasons why he might not be able now to coach in a full time environment but, once again, it's about handling it in the correct manner. Are we ever gonna actually start "retaining our core principles and values" or is that just trite nonsense?
  8. Nah a Friday is my night in with the family. Saturday is for getting absolutely trousered with the troops. And Sunday is for waking up on the couch.
  9. I'm well aware of Ferrie's abilities as a keeper and I've praised him on here many times for good saves. I can also see the potential in him. I think I've been very fair and consistent with my opinion on him and all our keepers over the years (and indeed all our players) They all make errors and have great games so they'll get equal praise and constructive criticism when deserved. As for "we need to move on from Muir now". Aye but I don't think it's unfair at all to say he could kick and distribute the ball better. I'll always be of the opinion that we shouldn't have released him. A bit like you think Longridge should never have been re-signed. But aye, I guess we do just need to back Coyle and Beuker's decisions eh
  10. Decent assessment of how it went tbf. I'd also like to add that once again Calum Ferrie's kicking and distribution was pretty poor. Very disappointing as I think he's made a solid start to the season and he made some great saves against Dundee (one was outstanding) Three times he was bailed out by his defence after putting us under unnecessary pressure. Couldn't help notice that Willie Muir was sitting among our support up the back, someone who was pretty flawless when it came to that part of his game. Something for our goalkeeping coach to work on. He's still young so time to get it sorted. It should be a given that every keeper at this level is "a good shot-stopper", it's the other aspects of their game that separate the best from the rest.
  11. Aye, 9 points has normally been enough but of course one less runner up place this season. We (or Hamilton) would be unlucky as f**k to miss out with that total.
  12. Lightweight! It's a £10 increase from last season when you had to buy your own drink. Only went to it once at Firhill but it was a decent day out, a good laugh and we all put much more than £10 a head into the drink kitty so reckon we could rip the absolute arse out of this deal (although I doubt I'll be giving the club any more money than I already have until they start treating us with a bit more respect)
  13. Which was really surprising given the utterly shambolic nature of all three at the games. Fair play.
  14. Not today it's not. However it is possible to care about all of these things while discussing something else that's important.
  15. I honestly don't think they will bother a f**k about anything we might do.
  16. Yep, an absolute shitebag move from everyone involved. Not to mention selling season tickets as well without full clarity. Absolute charlatans Came on here to talk about the game last night only to be side tracked again by Dempster and the committee's off the park nonsense. If Sygenta's deal gives them priority over us then they have every right to play Saturday but could we not have found a ground closer to Glasgow to be 3rd class tenants at? Friday night or Sunday afternoon fitba at Hamilton or whatever would have been pish but a bit more bearable.
  17. My ears are bleeding after listening to that drivel
  18. I'm gonna cut him a bit of slack. I thought he did well first half on Tuesday and it was his ball that made the opener. He definitely faded after half time and was rightly subbed but I think he's a decent player. His work rate off the ball is also excellent. something I especially noticed in the play off games. And during our ridiculous run of boring draws last season he was the only player showing any creativity. You're right though, Championship is a different level but I'd give him a chance to see what he can do
  19. Great idea. Will raise this at the next SA meeting. A group of us have already decided that we'll definitely be chipping in to get the young lad in question a season ticket anyway.
  20. Yeah but the difference this season is you can already see the better quality of our attacking play out wide. Last season's signings for League 1 weren't an upgrade at all from what we had in League 2.
  21. Delighted with that, apart from that wee sloppy spell obviously. We look like scoring every time we go forward these days. So much energy and attacking ability. Some goal by Williamson, great pace and movement to make the defender look like he was towing a tractor and a cool finish. Next Tuesday of course will be a harder test. Then we'll know what level we're at for the Championship. I'm sure everyone will agree that it felt weird as f**k watching a home game at Stennie but hopefully it'll grow on us, like Firhill did. Hopefully going forward we can also get a decent wee group together up the back to make some noise, like we did at Firhill. Most away supports will be on the terracing and we'll be outnumbered for a lot of these games so the team will need all the backing we can give them for 90 minutes.
