  1. Why couldn't I have got biology lessons like that? I could give you advice on rearing brine shrimp though if you want. Used to hatch them out an raise them as fish food when I bred fish. They're quite easy to hatch and keep.
  2. Workmates. They're all really nice and that but I just wonder what some of them do when they're in. I work part time and worked 9-5 yesterday. Got a load of new stock in which I finished processing at 4.50pm, I took it downstairs for the folk working the 5-8 shift to put away. Nights are normally very quiet and I'd done all the stuff that there was to do upstairs. Came in at 1pm today and the bloody things were still lying there waiting to be put by so that would be 6.5 hours they'd been lying for. I always make an effort to put all the stuff away that has came in in for the next person going on the desk but don't think I'll bother any more.
  3. Why is it that when I see anyone wearing a St Mirren strip I assume they are a member here. I was doing a show in a scout hall for a Beaver group (heh)in Paisley last week and a chap came in to drop off his wee laddie. He was wearing a St Mirren top and I automatically thought "Oh, I wonder who that is".
  4. I've no idea it just seems easier to do so. I type with my left hand but write with my right.
  5. That's why I commented it's maybe some kind of repetative strain syndrom. It's in my left hand which I use to type but I am right handed.
  6. Every time I work in a library for any length of time I get really bad joint pain in my hands. At the moment one of my fingers is really swollen and throbs like a lady dog every time I grip something or stretch it. I got this years ago when I worked in the library full time but then it was my whole hand that was affected. I got sent for X rays and blood tests to see if they could determine the cause but before I could see a specialist I quit my job and began working in something totally different. By the time my appointment with the specialist came up the problem had cleared up on its own. Now I’m back working in the library it’s flared up again. Once every 10 days or so it comes up and remains sore for around 3 days. Pain in the neck or hand in this case. Wonder if it’s some kind of RSS.
  7. And safer, I've got a huge great bruise and cut residing on my left buttock after falling off a ledge onto a sharp rock.
  8. Did Ben More in Crianlarich yesterday. Oh. My. God.
  9. Come to think of it I think we had a buffet as well. I've blocked out most of the night from my memory, it was just so ****ing boring.
  10. Am I the only one that didn't get my dinner at my prom? Christ if there'd been some noms there it might have been bearable. I was in a common room of 9 very girly girls who all wanted the limo etc. I only went to the 5th year prom because we had one lass who was leaving before 6th year, by the time the 6th year prom came round I'd decided I hated everyone and the 5th year one was so boring there was no way I'd have been tempted to go. If I mind right I rang my mum at ten to come and get me.
  11. I forgot how fun photoshop was, I think my gecko looks smart with his shades. Not as much fun as photoshopping Ruggy being raped by a fully grown lion though.
  12. I've got a friend that wants to go up Ben More and Stob Binnian next Saturday, can't say I fancy it though. I'm thinking of going for Ben Bhuidhe soon though as that's the last munro in the trossachs for me. Figure it'll be best done in midsummer given the walk in is rather long. Managed to get two new poles for a tenner in sports direct in Falkirk. Been on the lookout for new ones.
  13. I think you're being kind referring to them as "People". My PTTGOYN today is random headaches.
  14. Myself and three others went up Ben Chabhair today and the weather was pretty miserable. The path was alright and we made it up the initial steep bit up by the Glas Burn to the valley at the top. One of our party though decided he couldn't go on any further and insited he was fine to wait where he was while the rest of us went on ahead. We walked along the path for another 45 mins and reckon we covered about 1 and a half miles from the top of the initial ridge. Decided that, given the summit was still around 2.5 miles and 600 odd meters off we couldn't leave our pal for the length of time it'd take to do it and headed back to where he was. On the way back down I tried to get all of us in a group shop with the timer function on the camera. I set it up on a rock then ran over to where everyone was only to slip at the last moment and end up on my side at their feet. Two of the three still managed to pose for when the camera went off (c***s) and after I stayed still (I was laughing) I heard one remark "Oh God... has she cracked her head on that rock?". I thought it seemed a good walk though, better if it was drier but am desperate to go back up it.
  15. The crossings I use a lot aren't the ones with the sensors and it doesn't make any difference if you press the button or not.
  16. Scottish bloody water. Don't they have to give you some warning when they're doing work in the area? Our water is filthy and we can't have showers therefore can't go out and there's nothing in the house to drink.
  17. Vivarium lying open with usual occupant missing is never good. Especially when you noticed the same thing only a few days before and put your partner through hell getting said occupant back.
  18. I was having a chat with a guy I know at half time as he was in the south stand instead of the main one where he has his season ticket. He's thinking of moving to the south stand next season though - it's the place to be!
  19. I get at least 5 rows every game for singing, swearing and shouting strange things so yes most likely.
  20. Probably would have been me as I tend to attend games in a family group that includes my aunt and mum.
  21. I assume the bottom loves him for his looks rather than his intelligence.
