    Think it would be strange to hopefully have fixed Wightons knee at presumably not insignificant cost to then release him or send him out on loan. I think he will be fine hopefully with no knee problems next year. MOH seemed a strange one at the time. Breen to me is fine again if we can land MFW and is then down the pecking order. I wonder if Chalmers would go to a team in L1 where he can be a Rolls Royce type player. I would guess not.

    The Paul Allan conundrum continues. I think 6 months ago people would have shrugged at him leaving as a free agent in the summer but recently, especially the last 5 weeks or so, I think he has proved a valuable squad player. Obviously with him and another non-combative slow CM then you aren't going to do anything of note in this league but I feel he still has something to offer and at a wage that is presumably pretty affordable. His delivery has improved as has his grit, when Hammy was taken off against United he did a similar role really well, took his goal today well. For me he is now in the keep pile for next year. Is he in yours?

    No Hayes-Welch today for us which is a shame but for what feels like the first time this season we have decent replacements to choose from.

    I went Hammy PotY Otoo YPotY Todd goal Vs Patrick the touch for me is just so so good. Also think he merits some recognition for his return to the team.

    Yes if we have any aspirations for 4th place then we need all three points it will be a tricky game but if we play like we did against United then we should be fine. If I'm being greedy would also be nice to chip away at the GD.

    Why do England and Wales shut down at Easter like it's Christmas? Do they eat so much chocolate and hot cross buns that they can't move. Seems strange compared to here where Easter is just another weekend.

    Don't really understand why you would have unused subs in the cup game like Allan and Chalmers playing 90 minutes whilst Rennie and Beagley warm the bench seems odd.

    Would have been faster to try and take it through parliament to get the category B listed status rescinded given it's highly unlikely anyone will restore it as was and in it's current state it's not worth preserving. I don't know how you strike a balance between stopping people burning down problematic buildings but also stop what is essentially a milestone round the councils neck costing them tax payers money to make it safe whilst also costing the public purse in terms of lost revenue on the train line. Maybe stricter ownership laws to stop absentee/ opaque owners taking the piss would help?

    Tbh it's probably more the ratio keeper to goal size that the people who came up with the standard size of goal were looking for. Maybe the mens goal should be bigger.

    For a second I thought that was the price Motherwell to Glasgow! The "long distance" prices are a joke on the day, I do wonder if competition would help bring the price down but given the bus is so so much cheaper I'm not convinced that alternatives on the railway would help much and the prices on comparable LNER routes don't seem to have much impact.

    Doesn't look great, should a bridge that big really collapse like that when one pillar is taken out, thought it might be a bit more resistant.

    I thought with the lack of traffic that the Americans might have been behaving themselves, however not to be. 5 school kids have been arrested after firing 30 rounds into a crowd of people waiting for a bus one person ended up being shot 9 times but seems has survived which is good going. Elsewhere a bar fight turned into a shootout in Indianapolis where 2 off duty cops who were working as door men at the time intervened, one was shot along with 5 others the interesting thing about this story is it seems the person who eventually died left the scene of the shooting before wandering into a hospital later but presumably had also lost too much bloody. Ridiculously unserious country.

    Just left lying about I think is the official American position. Might want to keep the bullets in the fridge though.

    Nothing. Just because the fridges are made to American standards doesn't mean you have to use them like the yanks do. You wouldn't go out and buy an AR-15 rifle if the fridge came with a holder for that, would you?
