Man for Man our team is better than that Brechin team that scored 4points in a whole 36games as proven now after 10 games with have 10more points. For any other part time teams fans to even still be trying to compare Championship Arbroath and Championship Brechin still is just stupid tbh. The Tunnocks cup takes up a few saturdays meaning you end up with a couple of midweek fixtures. Both of our midweek games are against Dunfermline! Im sure we will be well up for this after the good result yesterday and our team will no doubt be happier playing a game this midweek than training!

Would agree that Doris Spence as a 2 doesn't work. In general Spence hasn't worked out for us since he signed as a striker. Never thought I would say this but we are missing Swankie in a big way. Would also suggest now is thr time to have a look at any striker or attacking players who are currently without a club to help us till Jan.

Likely with no pre ticket sales people didn't bother making the trip with it forecast to rain! Also School holidays in Angus will have affected the away fan numbers.

We have now won more cup games as a Championship team than Brechin managed with there 1 win in the Scottish cup during their brief stay in the championship. Two great results to really kick start our season and any sort of result at Easter Road would make this a Majic start to your season!

QOS and Morton? Would suspect the first Morton game will be segregated. QOS I would say is a maybe with it being first game of the season, second game I doubt there will be.

Police Scotland will likely dictate what games will be segregated. Can only really see them not forcing us to segregate against Alloa, Ayr and ICT.

Happy he resigned even if underwelmed at first. But on thinking about it the right handside of the team has been solid with him and Thomson there last season when Omar played, so any new signing will need to work hard to get in the team ahead of him! Underated player.

Looking back over the season they were the best team I seen us play, in the league I would say Forfar impressed me most.

Story of there season poor defending, not helped by not having a RB in the squad and some would argue no LB either, chopping and changing the keeper and lets not speak about centre halfs.

I've been meaning to start a post. How did you find watching a game on the surface? Did you notice much of a difference? Tbf been twice this season and enjoyed watching both games, for a plastic pitch its not to bad its about as close as you can get to grass, only thing about it would be how good it is in 2-4seasons time.

As an Arbroath Fan i was disapointed he didn't come back out second half. Also all the debate about plastic pitches this week please keep yours as Arbroath are undefeated on that surface.
