    Arbroath FC Season Tickets 2021 / 2022

    We have missed you!

The world has been a scary place for the past 16 months or so and many of our lives have changed forever. However! There is much more optimism about the future and as Angus moves to Level One from Saturday and with the season only a matter of weeks away we are all extremely excited at the prospect of welcoming you home very, very soon.

We can’t thank those loyal supporters who purchased a season ticket last season enough. You stood by us and even when the hope that fans would be allowed back in was taken away from us you remained committed to your club and watched safely from your living rooms via Arbroath FC TV.

It was another tremendous season for our players, Management Team and for our club as we secured our 3rd consecutive season in the Scottish Championship with some terrific performances against some of the very best Scottish Championship Clubs.

We sincerely hope that this season will be another one for the record books and you will be again proud of the players on the Gayfield Pitch who have missed your backing and support all season.

We wanted to reward those supporters who backed the club during one of the darkest seasons on record so as a thank you we are offering your season ticket renewal at the same price as last season. This will include all 18 Home Championship League Games (14 Home League Games Last Season) all friendly matches and any end of season play-off matches. This will represent a 20% saving on the new season ticket prices.

I wonder if the club will honour the terms in which the season tickets were sold regarding playoff matches.Judging by the cleverly staged interview with chairman they are about to renage on this?

The club issued a season ticket for league games....

This issue came about when the Rangers came down the leagues.

A play off is a cup game like the league cup or Scottish cup.

The club has done so many things right the last few years this one isn't on them they have a power over.... cause of rules introduced after other clubs played the system....

Will there be a big crowd for this game on Friday evening? I've felt like the season is over since the Killie game.

I guess Morton will want to get the 3 points that could move them up a place, depending on other results, whereas we retain second place whether we win, lose or draw, so it's hard to get excited about the game.

It'll be interesting to see how we line up, I would expect some players to be rested but then again the manager might want to keep everyone sharp.

I'd be surprised if the Championship player of the year doesn't go to a player from a club in the west, just hope that it's Tiffoney and not Lafferty.

Over 3000 turned up, the feel good factor and work to encourage the next generation is paying off 😊

I think today is easily our best performance of the calendar year - we were outstanding in the second half and although it took 15/ 20 minutes to get into the game, once we settled we really began to play football.

It honestly deflies belief in so many ways that here we are, in the middle of April, playing games at the top end of the Championship and comfortably winning them in front of nearly 2,500 people. We haven't had that many people in the home end at Gayfield for a standard league match for 40 odd years I don't think.... In the 90s and 00s there will have been entire seasons where there's no chance we had 2,500 different people come to Gayfield to support Arbroath FFS.

All I've wanted for months is for us to go into this Kilmarnock game with it being a competitive fixture and the league still up for grabs, and we've done that. We've managed to keep our magnificent start to the season going, add to it, adapt to losing key players, ride out a bad run of form and here we fucking are - 34 games in and we're still here, and still showing what we can do. It's absolutely incredible :)

This season we've all been extremely lucky to see some of the best players we'll ever see in an Arbroath strip. It's absolutely unquestionable that in my time supporting the club, Joel Nouble and Jack Hamilton are the two best forward players we've ever had. Noubs absolutely outstanding outside the box, and Hamilton absolutely outstanding inside it.

The crowd was likely smaller when we won league 2 (or the bottom league) against Montrose.... May be wrong!

Out of the players showing as out of contract on Transfermarkt would definitely take: Tumilty, Steve Lawson, Coll Donaldson, Aaron Comrie, Stevie Lawless, Ryan Dow, Dom Thomas, Sean Welsh, Ogwu, Lewis Strapp, Adeloye, James Maxwell, Lee Connolly, Jack Hamilton (Arbroath/Livi), Chris Hamilton, Nicky Low, Scott Stewart & Tam O’Brien.

There’s a few on there we’d have no chance with but most are realistic, unless we are truly skint.

Nick Low is in contract till 2023, Scott Stewart and Tam O'Brien till 2024.

We've clearly got the "big teams" rattled if they're resorting to fake  news 😊

I get the feeling the £500k still rankles, shame that.

Not beating us the season they got relegated cost them £350,000 nothing else, the fact they are still mentioning the £500,000 v the £150,000 grant 15 months later is tragic.

Really baffled as to why Arbroath never even attempted to get at us after pulling one back. Obviously they weren't going to go gung ho, but 10 behind the ball the whole half was odd.

Anyway, a solid enough win. Dundee and Dunfermline in our next two, win those and we are looking pretty good.

Maybe because your teams shape and ball retention stopped Arbroath doing that.

Neilson teams are hard to breakdown.

And cause planes to fly over tynecastle for being abit boring 😴😴

I would run with this team if possible

    Gaston

    JT Little TOB Hammy

    Ruth Miko Swanks Whatley Linn

    Mckenna

Enough energy and pace in that team to cause problems going forward with Whatley & Miko in particular providing more supportive cover for the back 4 🇱🇻⚽ A player with Swanks passing ability and creativeness could be key here in what will be another tight game

I really like Gold but I think him Hilson and Doolan need a break and we need to freshen things up, If we are needing a goal you still have the likes of Smith & Donnelly as further attacking options with Craigen & Stewart options with Gold to give the midfield and defensive a boost if we are protecting a lead.

Would play Swankie wide, Mckenna as the advanced midfilder and Ruth up front.

In a sick type of way i am hoping Wighton is a flop at Hearts so we could maybe get him on loan again as even if we have to pay Hearts a £Grand a week for his services it could be money well spent if his goals gain us a point or even 3 points to keep us in the league next season, on the other hand with Hearts in the same league as us now they would maybe not loan him out to a rival team.

Until then i honestly would change it to 2 up top with Doolan as the main striker with either Ruth/Hilson/Swanks playing off of him with Bobby wide.

Last season before Wighton came in I though we looked most dangerous when Stewart played central in the advanced role behind Donnelly.

Actually think we are missing Whatley in the centre, goals were always going to be a struggle and with injures it means our line up is really unsettled this season for the wrong reasons.

Still think we have enough about us to finish at least 8th.

Thought Arbroath, with the makeshift defence, had the right approach and the players kept busy, with the occasional creative touches. Disappointed we didn’t score from the decent chances we had.. A tad more composure needed

Just one thing - what was the Hearts manager going on about the Lichties great home record? I’d check if I could be arsed but sense it’s motivational hyperbole seeking to moderate inevitable complacency among his team. Our record was surely no better than average last season, if that.

Difficult to imagine a better ventilated outdoor gathering than Gayfield with its natural air conditioning so a real shame at least some fans couldn’t attend.

Our home record wasn't the greatest in league 1 when we first came up.

It's a myth the whole Gayfield is an advantage because of the small pitch and wind.

Tynecastle is 5 yards shorter and only 1 yard wider for comparision on pitch size.

Aye parstv used 3/4g at away grounds,  however there are normally a lot more issues at away grounds with the stream going down.   The home games seamed to get a lot more stable after the club installed a fibre connection.

If fibre is the only issue then that can be got around,  you can certainly get a steam out.  I would think the other major flaws in Pixellot are a bigger issue.

The Fibre cable at Gayfield should be finished tomorrow.

But your right setting up Pixellot and getting the AI camera to behave and work properly may be more of an issue than maintaining the feed.

4G streaming games is never going to be ideal just due to the drops in signal compared to a fixed line, so fairly happy we have had a fixed line installed for streaming games.
