Yeh I sincerely hope that now we have signed Nathan Austen the work is not done. There are still a few positions we need to fill of strengthen by getting back up players in and although Ferguson fron St Johnstone was a huge success, they seldom set the heather on fire.

Would definitely wanted to keep him. You get 100% effort from him but does make the occasional gaff. Strong in the air and gets a goal now and then but overall strong in the tackle. Why are you asking, are you in the running to get him.

With respect to all the resignings so far, I worry that the manager has been said on other forums by fans of previous clubs that he managed to have been guilty of hanging on to players too long. Is he making that mistake here. Depends on who or if there are any more signings to come. It has been hinted at on the website but the powers that be have been known to tease us fans and not deliver

Yeh what a tease East Fife are being. The two mentioned above ie Steele and Denham would have been the top of my list for resigning but the board are hopefully keeping the best till last plus of course a couple of new guys.

Not expecting very much from the play offs but just glad to be part of things. I hold my hands up to thinking that we would be fighting down the other end of the league at start of the season and more recently in January. Fair play to all the players for getting into a play off position and particularly Alex Ferguson who has been immense in midfield and Allan Fleming who pulled off some points saving saves regularly. Could go on naming players but collectively they all deserve praise.

Alex has loads and loads of potential. Not surprised he has been given a contract extension. I know he is playing in the second division but if I was East Fife manager, he would be one of the first names on the teamsheet come matchdays. I’m sure we will see him one day in the St Johnstone line-up.

You’re quite correct there seemed to be some confusion about the winning number. I thought it was announced as 30288 but the second time it was announced it seemed to be 03888. Maybe should be reiterated weekly on club website for clarity as well as because you can’t hear the tannoy in the toilets.

Suppose todays result is not too bad. Seems from BBC stats Bonnyrigg had more chances so will take a point and move on.

Obsessed is hardly the word to use. The only person obsessed with Ryan Wallace is Ryan Wallace. I did notice though that he has not changed much by taking all free kicks, corners. Is he your designated penalty taker as well. I did post before he kicked a ball for you boys that he was not an out and out striker which was confirmed yesterday.

Aiden Denholm, midfielder from Hearts. We desperately needed a goal scorer but we have got Pagey, a central defender, and the aforementioned midfielder. Not going to score many in the remaining games then.

Anyone remember the days when four blokes took a corner of a of a bed blanket and walked around the perimeter of the pitch gathering donations and dodging some over enthusiast fans. (With the the wee guys following them picking up the scraps).
