I think Duncansfield and Adamslie were in certain aspects, very similar to one another. I don't think you can like one and not the other. I'm hoping the same mate. I do believe that alot of careful planning will be going into it, given the time we've had to plan it and newer grounds are looked at to what is good and what is not so good.
For example so many people don't like Petershill Park as they say it's soulless. Perhaps people are comparing it too much to the old Petershill Park. Personally I quite like Petershill Park.
Renfrew is a newer ground but they seem to have gotten it right. Personally I've never been for a game but I hear so many good things about it
For a new ground and not grass Renfrew is still a great day out and wee bar is brilliant0 -

It’s the best way forward this season jeezo 10 non league and division 2 in first round then the 10 winners and the 10 division 2 clubs in round 2 then the 10 winners and 22 from championship make last 32 for 3rd round as for 10 non league I’d say top 5 in highland league and top 5 lowland league then back to normal next season I don’t know why some fans can’t see it’s for 1 season and stop bleating on about how it affects there club this is best way forward for Scottish football I actually don’t think the Scottish cup senior or junior 19/20 should be played now even tho it affects the 2 team I support and my local ex junior team0 -

Again most people in here detached from reality in a little bubble where everything sounds great in the online sphere.
Prices will have went up twice in a short period of time for junior supporters some may say ah its not a lot but in a post pandemic world where money will be incredibly tight and prices for everything at a football match not just match ticket are going up as well as clubs looking for more and more supporter help in fundraising then its another blow to the supporter.
Who knows where it will end add to that two three games a week its a lot of extra money for some people to find for a product that isn't anything better than what they were watching before if anything worse as the lose of major cup for some and the juniors identity making the majority of supporters think is it worth even going now especially as general health concerns that will linger for a while thats not be even mentioning the general bland faceless inexperienced people of our west clubs supposedly leading us through everything.

Nobody knows who's running the show, the respected junior men who knew the clubs and region and who did great work over the decades left high and dry instead we get people temporary in charge who nobody knows and anybody who has heard of them they are from plastic nobody clubs who have been around for two minutes and then the odd leak of info on here from someone in zoom calls with them.

Spot on bud there are folk saying a 38 game season might just be possible but to me it's too much of a gamble in what is basically a stop gap season. Players will have not played or even trained ( Darvel excepted ) for six months to ask them to play so many games in a short period whilst also having to work would be ridiculous and standards will suffer. The fixture guy would come under intense pressure with a couple of wipeout Saturdays as well. There's talk of teams playing each other once then splitting into two 10 team championship/relegation groups but if it's 7 down that's a helluva lot to come from a 10 club relegation group. There's no easy answer but for me less is best a shortened season should mean less not more fixtures.

Yeah bout 13 grand , as for replying to mr new name 62 it’s not gonna be easy to win trophies in new set up no gimmies trophy wise as long as we are putting in a challenge. Beith have had some good spells Winning trophies throughout the last 20 yrs not many teams outwith talbot can claim that. There has been teams have been about for a few years winning things, but beith have had some good spells in that times including 2 leagues and a Scottish cup. Mobility not everything at this level, a good organiser and someone who can keep the ball and spread it round i watched a few players in this grade do that for me a good signing for the club1 -
Are the proposed start dates just for behind closed doors ? or is that decision yet to come ? Never did work out why Scotland made the leagues smaller but make you play home,away,home again - no need to play 3 times is there ? Hopefully things will get better and we can get back to the game.
It changed in 1976 from 2 leagues to 3 a top league of 10 2 leagues 14, since then the top league has changed a few times in 94 Ross county and caley thistle a merger of the 2 inverness clubs joined the sfl and made it 4 leagues of 10, then then about 2000 another change when Elgin and Peterhead joined that’s when the played each time 3 times came into premier league and a split after 33 games cos it was a 12 team league, when it was 10 team league played everyone home n away twice.
I wish it had changed this year and made the bottom league 1 down automatically and the second bottom team played the loser of the HL and LL playoff game thus making it easier for tier 6 teams to get promoted to tier 5 rant over
