  1. Massive loss but you cannot hold someone back with family decisions! All the very best to him & good luck to Jim to try fill the gap!
  2. Contracts up at end of season, not sure if he’s been offered an extension or not.
  3. The stewards had absolutely no control of the fans trying to get into the ground either, it was an absolute shambles. Surprised the game didn’t get delayed to be honest, there was still a massive queue when I got in, stood in line for around 10/15 minutes also.
  4. Only bit of criticism i’m giving him. Didn’t go for it enough over the two legs, seemed happy with a draw today which seemed bizarre, like for like subs when we needed to have a go at a poor Raith defence. They were barely troubled today. I’ve praised Weir countless times & was one of the very few that embraced & was excited by his appointment, a very likeable manager.
  5. Tactics from Jim Weir over the two legs killed us unfortunately. Substitutions today slightly baffling also.
  6. Don’t see why we can’t overturn this, we’ve been good at station park this season! Didn’t think Raith gave us much trouble on Tuesday night, think a draw would have been a fairer result, however not disheartened by a 1 goal deficit. Start of well and have Raith on the back foot early doors & we will prevail. 3-1 Forfar’s my prediction. Bairdy double & Hilson. Nisbet of course scoring for Raith.
  7. He was constantly out of position when he came on? Eckersley was raging at him countless times to get forward. Or did you not see that?
  8. Massive Congratulations to Dale Hilson, Marc McCallum & John Baird for making team of the year! [emoji1303] [emoji1319]
  9. Regardless of the outcome of this match, what a journey we’ve been on with Jim Weir in charge, taking us from potentially a relegation last season to a second place finish & potential promotion this season! Still fancy us to win this tie over two legs, C’mon the loons! [emoji1317]
  10. If we lose Reilly & Easton it’ll be a nightmare, but I wouldn’t be surprised they are gonna get more money & actually be appreciated! Fair play to the last wanting to get more money for themselves, Kelty is closer to home to travel as well, slight lack of ambition but fair play.
  11. Thought he was quite good yesterday against us & actually unlucky not to keep out the goal. Your motm by far!
  12. That you naming your Forfar Future 11 for next season?
  13. Will be a massive let down if we don’t keep hold of Meechan, Reilly, Easton & Spencer.
  14. I’ll just put this right out there, I’d much rather have Danny Denholm on the wing instead of Connor Coupe or Jamie Bain.
  15. Oh how buzzing I am to watch Mackintosh & Coupe instead of Reilly & Easton next season[emoji42][emoji42] Boring football here we come.
  16. Be really disappointed to lose Easton & Reilly in the summer, no matter what side they do go to. Jim Weir’s going to have one hell of a busy summer to bring in quality regardless of which league we are in next season. A few lads in the squad that I wouldn’t mind losing Malone being one of them. But lets be honest if you got offered a job for better wages you’re gonna jump at the chance, also closer to home for both players.
  17. Who would have thought with 5 games to go we would be in contention for a play off at the better half of the table after the shambolic start of the season we suffered. Jim Weir deserves a huge amount of credit for the job he has done since coming in & steadying the ship.
  18. Bairdy or Whyte for me. Without Baird’s goals we wouldn’t be in contention for a play off place. Whyte’s dramatically improved not only himself but others around him now that he’s being played in what I feel to be his best position.
  19. Cedwyn Scott signs on loan for the Loons till the end of the season from Dundee. Surprised with this to be honest, thought Matty Aitken would have been useful enough for the bench.
