Granted the result isn’t great but look at the squad we had out? missing a couple key players, giving trialists a chance? couple of new lads need to gel with the current squad, few boys probably just finished work at 6 and had to get to the game for a 7:30pm kick off whereas Dunfermline are a full time outfit that have been training consistently. It’s the first game back since the break. I’ll reserve judgement until we’ve got a full squad & playing competitively.

Can’t help but feel this is a wasted loan signing, he’s a young winger who I fear will just become a bench warmer. surely can’t get ahead of Thomson, Mcluskey or Flanagan.

Actually agree with you for once on Nditi, I was rather unimpressed with his performances in the few games he played for us. Think however it’s just a like for like replacement with Meechan, as I feel both players are of similar ability. Brindley signing is underwhelming also in my opinion, didn’t rate him at all when playing left back. A natural midfielder being shoehorned into left back is never a good thing.

I’m very excited with the signing on Flanagan think he will add a lot of quality to our squad but I do feel we need to get a few more quality players n for him to shine. On the Armour signing i’m not as excited however willing to give him a chance. it definitely will be interesting to see how Irvine lines us up this season. I don’t think Flanagan & Armour would of signed to just sit on our bench, which leads to the question who’s dropping out for Flanagan & Armour to come in..
