  1. Take my hat off to anyone making the trip to Peterhead on Saturday, I couldn’t think of anything worse on recent showings.
  2. Imagine watching that game of Saturday and thinking it deserved to be anything other than a Dumbarton win. Ray has his head in the clouds, has done for about a year now. Came in and made us better last season for about 8 weeks then we completely fell away again, should have really made play offs last season. Might still make play offs this season but not the play offs that we’d of hoped
  3. Let’s not forget Skelly hasn’t only been a junior player all his career… im not saying that Aitken would be the answer either, just stating that the stick he got was mental. But I’d have him up front ahead of the options we do have in a heartbeat.
  4. Nah, he’s far too erratic of a defender. Just my personal opinion. I think defensively he’s too much of a liability, he gets caught out of position far too much, going forward he’s a little bit better but i just don’t think he’s good enough.
  5. Imagine the stick Aitken would be getting if that was him every week… look at what he’s went on to achieve.. the amount of stick Aitken got was absolutely mental.
  6. Let’s be honest the teams just not good enough. That’s the bottom line, McKinnon tried to ‘ local lads ‘ approach & it’s backfired dramatically. we have just three players signed up for next season in Marc McCallum, Matty Allan & Russell McLean. The only other players I would want us to keep would be Adam Hutchinson(been very solid all season) Mark Whatley(how Robson gets a game ahead of him every week is mystifying) Craig Thomson(although recent performances haven’t been great, he’s clearly lacking confidence) Stuart Morrison(arguably been our best player this season) Andy Munro( keep him as back up, he has been pretty solid this season) Daniel Scally (deserves a chance to gain full fitness and get a decent run in the side, if we can get a manager that’s willing to attack) The rest can go.
  7. Dumbarton 2-2 Clyde East Fife 3-1 Bonnyrigg Rose Peterhead 2-0 Forfar Athletic Stenhousemuir 1-1 Elgin City The Spartans 2-0 Stranraer

  9. Dumbarton 2-3 Stenhousemuir East Fife 1-1 Elgin Peterhead 2-2 Clyde Stranraer 2-0 Bonnyrigg The Spartans 1-1 Forfar
  10. Cameron Ferguson signed for Forres Mechanic’s. wonder if he can cut it in the highland league…
  11. Moore’s had a handful of decent games in four years at the club, was amazed he signed again at the start of the season. another player moving on that’s just not good enough.
  12. Clyde 2-2 Spartans Dumbarton 3-1 Bonnyrigg Rose East Fife 2-0 Stranraer Elgin City 0-0 Forfar Athletic Stenhousemuir 1-1 Peterhead
  13. 14 draws in the league this season is absolutely wild. 7 0-0’s., combined with the second least goals scored in the league & the third least goals conceded, it’s no wonder we’re all bored out of our minds. if only we had a manager that wanted to attack, we’d maybe actually score some goals & win some games….
  14. Bonnyrigg 1-2 Clyde Forfar 2-1 Stenhousemuir Peterhead 1-1 East Fife Stranraer 0-0 Elgin Spartans 2-2 Dumbarton

  16. That’s 7 unbeaten in the league now, drastic improvement from the start of the season. Definitely positives to take, just need to find that cutting edge to put teams away. Going forward it’s still a bit lethargic & lacking creativity. On to Stranraer next week I would make 2 changes to the starting 11 yesterday. Mykyta in for Skelly & Thomson on the right in for Allan. I think Allan’s a decent wee player, still young but he has pace to burn which would be useful coming on as a sub to stretch the game if required.
  17. I thought Austin struggled in the air to be honest, Munro & Allan won most encounters with him from what I seen. I was very impressed with Connor McMnaus in the middle of the park for East Fife, he seemed to dictate most of the play especially in the second half.
  18. Game of two halves again today. we played well first half but didn’t create much. Thought Allan took his goal well. second half we capitulated again, east fife came out firing and were unlucky not to take the three points. Probably would of had it not been for McCallum saves & some poor finishing. It’s good to be grinding out points, but it’s worrying that we can’t seem to be able to see out a lead. Onto Stranraer next week which is looking like a tasty tie.
  19. Dumbarton 2 -0 Stranraer East Fife 1 - 2 Forfar Peterhead 2-0 Elgin Stenhousemuir 1-1 Clyde Spartans 1-2 Bonnyrigg
  20. Skelly’s a street footballer, out of his depth at senior level.
