I'm not 100% on Clarke but he's young, has pulled off a few worldies and Timmins has improved every keeper we have had in his time at the club

This is the same coach who made Joe Hart what he was , coached him for a few years in his late teens , would be great to see what he could do with Clarke if he was to sign and gets a lot of praise for how he brought on Ollie

I wanted one last year but it's apparently the same material as the shirts?

Hate that stuff for wearing as day to day casual wear due to the moisture wicking, wish it was just regular cotton/poly blend that doesnt hold the sweat in the material

It is nothing like the strip material , it’s your normal hoodie fleece lined material

I know mate... but you've already read how scunnered even longterm season ticket holders are and a good few not just handing their money over.... Then there's all the other points I've made previously about trying to get us disenfranchised fans back and new support. If they don't get the finger out, I don't believe the build it and they will come ethos will work. It's a football club and football is the product they sell to us paying public.

While I fully understand the need for a sound financial business, shiny new stuff is not what it's about and going on various posts of yours, and I don't want to sound like a twat here, but you seem to have the blinkers on, as does the club about what the fans, outwith the core support feel.

I am not parting with hard worked for money to stand and admire a stand.... even if it is fucking beautiful!

Shiny new stuff does help with the long term plans of the club and a majority of fans support it , Hub has brought in much needed income , new shop has more than doubled the sales , new hospitality going to bring in over 100% more than old suite , I would hate to think where this club would be without the funds being provided from the shiny new things

I know bud and I'm behind that. But if the footie continues to be atrocious, you're not going to increase hospitality bums on seats or increase attendances in general. Which is just a downward spiral to less £, and even poorer quality football. I've always stated my heartfelt gratitude to Smith, I'm just praying this summer is the start of the focus shifting. We are, after all, a football club, not a building firm.

He did say he had a 5 year plan , we are about to enter year 3 of this and building infrastructure to raise funds for the playing side are almost complete so really looking forward to what happens in the next couple of years

The £100 to play at Gayfield post has taken an interesting turn in the comments 👀

Do it at Ayr  every season end , manager always takes part either managing or playing , this year Scott Brown and Steven Whitaker will be involved in a playing  capacity , for our £100 we get to play on the pitch  , team introduced over the tannoy , get your playing kit name and number on back and keep the kit at full time followed by a buffet in the bar

Will a loss for ICT on Friday night and a win for us on Saturday see us safe do you think?

Would put us 7 points ahead with 3 games to go

    Us:

    Dundee Utd A

    Partick A

    Pars H

    ICT:

    Raith H

    Pars A

    Morton H

The good thing about ICT s run in is that they are playing teams around us ( Dunfermline and Morton) , so cutting  each others points available

    Yeah thats my assumption too.

My thoughts on it are, with the club having already stated the intention of developing the other corner of the railway end (we were rejected for the grant i think) - maybe a possible idea for that corner would be to eventually add new catering and toilet block as part of a development. It could serve as the facilities for the away end - meaning that the North Stand could exist independently as a home area.

Edit.  I am of course getting ahead of myself. I'm just very excited to get back out on the NT tbh. SRE does my nut in quite a bit.

The current toilets in away end will remain in place along with catering facilities , so hopefully home fans can get the full run for the majority of games

At some points of the game last night I sat looking over to the NT and convinced myself that the front row won't see over the wall 🤣 it must be an optical illusion as that 1st row between the Heineken and Mr Basrai sign looks "restricted view" if you're a short arse

Certainly an optical illusion, anyone over about 2 foot  tall can see over the wall
