Not read through the rest of the posts because it would probably send me off my head but, Stranraer got from the game what they deserved.
First half was ok but not enough to edge it, the second half we had one great chance then thereafter was an onslaught from Clyde.
A point would have been good but, would have covered cracks. People would have said we sat in and defended well.
We didn’t offer anything going forward though, again.
Harder to swallow too when you see Clyde player giving the big un to the great Stranraer support, didn’t realise there was as much beef, bar a couple of numpties at Stair Park.
Hurting, but still points to play for.

There was talk on Facebook a few weeks ago of the golfers running a bus to this one.
Would be a bit of fun if they turned up in plus fours.
As for the football, I don’t want to think about that just yet.0 -

Those were very good highlights.
Didn't think much of the penalty, although there didn't seem to be too many protests.
Great header for the equaliser, but there was a far easier one missed prior to that.
I suppose a draw was fair enough.
My exact comment at the time was there wasn’t much protest from the Stranraer players.
Bonnyrigg must have had more penalties than Rangers this season.2 -

I took in the game today seeing as we played last night. Horrid game with probably more balls going out the stadium than actual shots on target. Still think you'll be safe as you play Dumbarton soon and Stevie Farrell always seems to do you a favour
Not sure about that. The man gave us false pretences as our manager, signed great players, scraped in to the play offs and then never turned up.
Thats after getting us relegated the season before.

Peter Weatherson looked a lonely figure yesterday. Given his after match comments i wouldn't think he is the guy to take you forward.
There was a bit of a fuss from a few about Aggys post match interview last week.
Maybe sent Weatherson out to change it up a bit.
There’s only so much you can say when you’re losing so often.
I really want to it work for Agnew, he seems like he knows what the club is all about, gets the supporters etc. He’s also far more endearing than most previous managers.
The only thing missing is a run of results.
If we can avoid the drop this season I still have faith Agnew and Weatherson are the right guy to take us forward.0 -

All hypothetical, but I have often wondered if the WoSFL would be the option the club would try to pursue.
The idea of Stranraer FC playing in the SoSFL is unthinkable to me.
If that scenario ever did come to pass, the people that said they would support the team if locals played would have to find a new excuse for not supporting them.
Don’t see why we couldn’t go to the West.
Threave Rovers moved to the West in recent years, all be it having to start at the bottom.
Personally would like to see the West and the South amalgamate, majority of the South would find themselves in the lover reaches but, would give opportunity for the more ambitious clubs progress.Hopefully something we’ll not need to worry about.

Why’s the wee boy in the video wearing a Chicago Bulls jacket and not one of his local basketball team?

Starting to get concerning, after we beat Clyde I fully expected us to turn the corner, the win over Dumbarton gave me the same hope but, yet again left disappointed.
A dreaded trip to East Fife next week, we really don’t keep well there.
One plus is we still have Clyde and Bonnyrigg to face.0 -

Excellent as always.
Well done to Euan stepping in on co comms too for the first time.

Good decision from Aggy to drop Dolan and play Johnston wide, Dolan never got a sniff a couple of weeks ago against Dumbarton.
Although we were penned in a little for a ten minute spell after our first goal, I thought we were excellent from front to back.
At one point it felt like we were going to score every time we went forward.
Robertson returning to the midfield is a big plus, give Fleming and Forrest a lot more freedom, that showed tonight.
Not often a goalkeeper get praised after a 5-0 win but, I’ll give Bud a shout.
Stopped what looked like a certain goal right on half time, handling of the ball was excellent too.
Seems to be improving every game.4 -
Our second half display against Dumbarton showed we’ve got a chance if we get at them however, Saturday showed few signs of encouragement.
Fine defensively but, failed to create.
Pitch has taken a fair beating the last two home games. That probably contributes to our lack of creativity, need a surface that James Dolan and Matty Grant can get the ball down and go at opponents.

I said this at the time, baffling that we offered the manager a two year contract.
Not saying he has to go, but found it to be a strange decision and it looks stranger as we slip down the table.
At quarter to five we were in sixth place, a couple of wins against Dumbarton would see us hit on their tails.
Today was a real hard one to take but, hard to find falt anywhere on the park.
We’ve got a competitive team on a very low budget. Safety still looks well within our mists, what else can we ask for given our budget, crowds etc?

You weren’t there, so you don’t know the facts. Guy should more passion than our esteemed chairman has done for the past 2 years. The camera of course will not have picked up the Stranraer fans attacking a wee lassies’s dad 5 mins into the game or their vicious attack with weapons outside the ground, or their team walking to the away end to gesture to the away support that they had ‘humped us etc’ or that they wanted to fight with half the Clyde team anytime they were tackled. In this world of click bait you should be careful who you vilify.
Why did the man not declare to our support he was the father of a young child.
I’m sure they would have then stepped back and let the intoxicated Clyde morons ( sorry to the genuine, football fans among you ) fling punches for free.

The Stranraer highlights package is excellent but it is the commentary that is the real delight. The absolute indignation and howls for a red card as their player is tripped on the halfway miles from goal had me in stitches.
Two genuine supporters calling it as they see at the time.
Would rather tune into something with bit of bias and people saying it as it happens than some bland nonsense.
Stranraer Fc media is probably one of the best in the lower leagues.

Games against Clyde this season have been pretty close.
I do think we are a better team than the last time Clyde came to Stair Park.
We’re more sound defensively but still lacking a bit up top.
Hopefully Chris Johnston is back fit for this one, even if it’s only 60 minutes, he gives us something others don’t.
Due big performances from Matty Grant and James Dolan, both not performed as well as they can recently, obviously not through lack of effort, just doesn’t seem to be happening.
Going to be a nervous one for both sets of fans.

The club only had three different home shirts from 1980 to 1990. Not sure about away shirts.
80-85 - Bukta kit with the old red badge.
85-88 - The Umbro Burgess Motors kit. ( one of our best )88-90 - The first of our many Sealink / Stena kits. This one was made by Admiral.
Hopefully with there being so few it won’t be too hard to obtain pictures.

Stranraer have signed centre back Chris McQueen.

Agree. He had no chance of reaching the ball was only going to connect with Nditi. Should have been a red.
Should Matthew Allan been shown a red then?
90th minute James Dolan knocks the ball past him on the edge of the box, Dolan goes to skip by Allan who leaves his leg out to stop him.
No chance of reaching the ball was only ever going to connect with Dolan.-1 -
Heard today that it’s highly likely that Budinauckas will make his debut in goal.
Also that we’ll only have three subs. Not sure the truth but we are very depleted at the moment.
Given we’re coming in to this one on the back of two pretty poor defeats, I’d bite your hand off for a point.

Going to be a tough one tomorrow.
I’ve only seen us against Bonnyrigg and Clyde in the league, from those games it can definitely be said that our team has heart and won’t roll over to anyone.
Still missing a few key players but those we do have are more than capable.
Would like to see us create more in front of Tam Orr rather than him receiving his ball with his back to goal.
Would take another 1-0, that would have us sitting pretty before our free week.

East Kilbride go straight into the final.
Buckie not eligible due to licensing.
Surely the SPFL and the club knew this before now.
