  1. I wonder if all the problems with Dundees pitch will make the SPFL hierarchy rethink there views on artificial pitches for teams without megabucks for maintainence?
  2. C'mon ye Tory Fermer Journeymen. You need to stay up. As i said before you are my favourite Dumfries Team
  3. I think Nesbitt has a good shout for POTY. All of our keyboards Peps ( including me) queried his 2 year contract. How wrong was that. He has worked his socks off in midfield and scored a few crackers. Well done.
  4. The amount of goals we have scored that the play has been started by McIver is amazing. Holds it up and plays others in. Great addition
  5. I heard that we are paying for Martins rehab ahead of next season
  6. Great post apart from mentioning George Craig !!! The only flares i have had in my hand were troosers in the 70's
  7. When i was in my teens the Bairns were crap and went part time. Me and an awful lot of my pals ( Ultras without the name) followed through it and our grand kids are now Ultras. It is what being a fan means taking the good and the bad but still being there.
  8. Home working killed the need for office space.
  9. Bloody hell. The Champions T shirt sold out before i even opened the link. GONE
  10. Motherwell got a US family to invest and work with fans group. Would be a better 3rd leg of our stool. Thoughts?
  11. I was going to say joint work with the Foundation but was scared it would lure SPLWWW back!
  12. No No No. We went down the beautiful players route a few seasons ago and found they were beautiful duds.
  13. Without youth and its excitement and at times risk football should just turn into a TV sport. It is a thing of history that this is what drives football along. Young fans behaving badly at Brockville are now sometimes Worther Original munchers in the Main Stand whilst their grandweans are setting off flares in the Ultras. And on it goes thankfully. The Green Brigade sadly bring a political element which is easy for the blazers to jump on
  14. Think as McGlynn says we need quality additions to the squad. If you look at Dunfermline this season. The are basically the same as last season with not much improvement. When injuries hit they were floored. They had not found players to supplement what they had. In League One you can perhaps get away with players getting injured and just playing another out of position. In the Championship that is very risky.
  15. A lot of teams at a higher level in Scotland and England are looking for that rarity also.
  16. Would like to see what Shanley was like with a full time pre season training. Remember he was part time until January
  17. Not now! You just stick with the reddies Rennieball /Higgenarse
  18. I dont think most of them were bad people but certainly not very good at managing a club like ours. Some were bad people though and it is by group pressure we have turned it round. I wont say who the bad people were as it could come back to bite me .
  19. I remember all the talk of it being a two year plan. NOW we can see what it meant. Well done BoD and staff.
  20. For us poor fans who , for a variety of reasons , could not make the game give this mob the Montrose treatment
  21. It is a Tonic Wine full of vitamins and caffeine to aid recovery. It also gets you pished faster!
