  1. We have space in football central Sunday’s for a further three teams for next season, there is space in our development league also that is more relaxed, rolling subs etc. This is on a first come first base scenario so if your interested and haven’t signed up yet get in touch. Pm in first instance.
  2. Sincere condolences from all at Gartcairn
  3. Every returning club get full set of joma kits badged and numbered
  4. There will be something in place before October but preferably for start of season
  5. Looking at all options tbh, we really need cover up there even just to entice a home support.
  6. We where looking at something bigger over 60 seats Only guaging if interest just now
  7. We at Gartcairn are pushing ahead trying to get two of these, expected costs between 10-15k each Are there any other clubs realistically interested in these if we can work a deal? Dm me if so
  8. Plans in place for stand and food cube, hospitality box almost sorted, changing facilities in place Park being renewed at end of next season
  9. Presentation night tonight Parrrttttyyy
  10. Low attendance tonight but thanks to those who turned up. After meeting the committee met, a discussion re finances took place, the surplus for the year is just over £4K . In truth it’s it’s not what it’s been in previous years due to teams folding etc. We are not in it to keep money so what we’ve decided is we can give roughly £100 back to clubs , again no league fees or we can spend some of the “reserves” and try and get a full kit deal 15 strips and keepers, for each returning clubs, no league fees. (who pay full monies at age) It is hoped that if we can pull this off we may also be able to get a deal for new clubs , we would also hope if we get returning clubs a full set of strips they may hand in an old set which could go to help a team start.
  11. Lot of hard work by everyone involved Led the league from first day to last Only lost two games all season Fully deserved Mtc
  12. He was, good lad and wish him every success, came thru our academy so credit to them massively
  13. Congratulations from all at Gartcairn
  14. Great three nil victory against current third placed Ardrossan Winton Rovers. Two goals from Gary arbuckle one in each half and a possible goal of the season from first time goal scorer Michael Williams, his celebration is also something to look forward too. Great team performance today but a wee special mention to Kevin Patrick McAllister for his penalty save, not a lot else to do other lol, Connor who again is the Duracell bunny, just keeps going and going and going , Harry Garbuckle for his two goals and Jamie Leslie who came back into the team , took a helluva lot of punishment but still showed his class.
  15. That’s it, the story’s over.........nearly. We have completed our games and currently sit top although if shotts win both games they will pip us by a point to be champions. Regardless what a season it’s been, we’ve led from the front most of the season and indeed only two defeats. If you had told me that’s where we would’ve been at the beginning of the season i would literally have pmsl. This season has been outstanding and we are already excited about next season. Thank you to all our players led by captain Kevin Ross, our management team led by Jamie Mckenzie and our great support. It would be remiss of me not to mention the committee who work tirelessly to bring funds in and work to get off the park sorted for next season. Now back to this season.... it’s out of our hands but the pressure is now on shotts, if they win both their games the rightfully will be crowned champions, they drop any we have a great chance due to goal difference. Dare to dream, dare to believe. Thank you all.
  16. You got me, it’s true my parents weren’t married
  17. Wow, pie and Bovril spelling police out in force. Just for you I’ve corrected them
  18. Gutted, lost 2-1 to Blantyre Vic’s, now need others to do us a turn. Definitely a game of two halves, first we were so in control it was men against boys, just never scored enough. Second half it was the polar opposite. If it had finished a draw no one could’ve argued but credit to Blantyre Vic’s scoring a worldly to win the game. Hopefully Blantyre can do us a turn when it comes to playing shotts, out of hands now. All the best to Blantyre in their remaining games (especially against shotts lol) Next up is our last game in league at home to ardrossan winton rovers at mtc park Saturday 2pm. We need as much vocal support as possible. Get along and support your local junior team
  19. Look forward to it, know Michael well, wish you all the best for next season obviously apart from when playing us. You’ve got a cracking gaffer their
  20. And then there was two..... two games to go and if we win both we win the league Tonight we took on bellshill away, we eventually ran out three nil winners against a very different team that we watched on Saturday, thanks to the bellshill committee for the usual great hospitality and all the best for the future. Next up this Saturday we welcome Blantyre Vic’s which is sure to be a hard game, we could be doing with your support. Mtc park Airdrie sports Centre 2pm ko. Next Saturday sees our final game of the season when we play Adrossan Winton rovers, two wins wins us the first division. Mtc
