  1. The SFA's issue was the number of clubs at tier 6, 67 were too many. They did agree to 20 clubs, which is still the case although in a slightly different format.

Don’t think it was, supposedly came from rod petrie that conferences at tier 6 wasn’t acceptable.
Again I strongly believe that splitting the premier is the most sensible idea they have came up with even if it was the best blatantly obvious solution, for me though the rest of teams now at tier seven and in conferences have again been shafted.
It was four fair conferences at the beginning.

I can’t how “legally” the premier can now be a conference
  2. I can't see the clubs allowing it for more than this season. The SFA have created the problem by insisting that the 2019-20 Scottish Cup is played to a finish, and then delaying it till December. I can't see any reason why they couldn't do what the other countries are doing and getting it out of the way now or at the start of the season.

    Money simples
  3. It's not a permanent arrangement, it's only for this season.

It’s what was proposed earlier in the season by rod petrie, knocked back and now covid has given it another opportunity
Don’t be suprised if this is what’s pushed going forward.
A big attraction for many teams transferring to the wosfl was the opportunity to gain a licence and play in Scottish cup

  4. Literally every problem that has arisen from this process, from the eosl onwards has been caused by the idiots who ran the junior game being terrified their wee jolly was coming to an end, this latest farce from yet more dinosaurs just shows how underhand and pathetic they are.

Again you’ll need to give me an understanding of a jolly, being on the management committee never gave me a jolly
  5. If you want to look at conspiracy theories just look at the post above.
Couple days after 5 clubs saying they'll be withdrawing from the SJFA. You got somebody saying the West Region still exists they can cover tier 7 and below.
Instead of every one being in the WOSFL. You've got people wanting to put up a divide between the two.

Not true, if you’ve read my posts it’s about working together to create a solution but you batter in and take as many negatives out it as you can.
  6. Can understand your frustration and agree that the three teams should be promoted but in all honesty the teams in the lower area of premier should not be disadvantaged as no relegation or promotion was mention when leagues were closed and officially the juniors no longer exist

West region juniors still exist until agm if it’s closed.

For me the big problem is sfa staying there must be one league only at tier 6 and they aren’t going to be involved in anything including discipline below tier 6

The problems in the past where that lowland league and sjfa couldn’t see eye to eye, that changed a bit when west region juniors got involved with literally two weeks to deadline.

I now believe we have an opportunity and a ready made solution to the administration and discipline issues below tier 6

If the west region juniors and wosfl can sit down and work together then the premiership as is with promotion relegation could go to wosfl , the other three divisions stay west region junior on the proviso that there’s promotion and relegation from wosfl and juniors.

If this could be the case the juniors would also need to evolve and be more proactive especially working with other associations

    CLUB STATEMENT

As the season has came to an early close due to the restrictions imposed with the covid 19 virus the players and committee of Gartcairn fc would like to thank all who supported and helped us on our journey this season.

With the move to the new West league next season we ask for your continued support.

A number of season ticket holders have enquired about what happens with missed games and to that note we at Gartcairn believe in looking after those that have helped to look after us.

We are replacing every season ticket bought last season with a free one for season 2020/21

We appreciate your support and hope this goes some way to showing that.

In these times much as football doesn’t matter it gives us something to look forward to.

We hope everyone stays safe and we all come through this together as one.

    Thank you.

  9.

Football central sundays have today announced their decision to end season.

All cup competitions have been shelved

We will attempt to complete each league division by 30th June , if this proves impossible , which is proving more likely, the league winners will be determined on average points.

We strongly believe that teams, committees and players have put a lot of time , money and effort into the season and deserve an ending.

  10. The candidates will come from within the clubs who form the new wosfl.probably for the second season of the new league setup.they will make their own choices and decisions.all clubs get to propose new idea's. rule changes if they get a secondary to back them thats what being a league is about, its the clubs who determine how their run.

In fairness that’s been the same every year in any association
